Character Name: Jayda Rose Marin
Nicknames: Jay, Flower
Age: 34 -Born Lupine
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bi-Curious
Power Level: Alpha Dominant
Description: Not the average girl next door. Those words are perfect when describing Jayda. She's tall, yet graceful. Nothing is out of place or in proportionate about her body. Her skin holds a warm tone like it was perfectly kissed by the sun, with no tan lines to show. To compliment her face she had bright round blue eyes, a small nose and pouty lips. Long blond hair cascades down her back, and can normally be hound in a variety of styles from straight to curly. Just how she is normally dressed in a variety of clothing. Rarely is it ever jeans and a shirt, she flaunts with pride what she was given and tends to like the looks she gets from men. Jayda prefers things that hug her curves and expose as much skin as possible.
In her true animal form she is a pure artic wolf, the whitest fur to allow her to hide amongst the snow. But because there is none she stands out like a bright shining light instead. There are no other colors of fur or markings on her body, except for her bright blue lupine eyes. In hybrid form her fur is more of a bleached blond color than white.
Personality:
Jay is normally very happy go lucky. She rarely lets anything bring her down and can quite often be seen with a smile on her face. But when she is upset those around know it, as she tends to bring down the moods of those around her. Normally she can be found with a group of people, those she calls friends. Even though she will admit she is fast to trust even though it means she is let down more than once. Jayda believes that one should keep their friends close but enemies even closer, because that way they can be monitored and things aren't so much of a surprise when it comes back to bite your backside.
History: She was told that somewhere down the line, shifters weren't born like she was. They were infected when there was more humans. And that her great great grandmother had started the whole thing when she was still alive. Since then the Lupine strain had been passed down through the generations, parent to child. Her Mother had given it to her, her Father had turned out to be a half breed of the Lupine variety. They weren't even sure if Jay was going to be a full Lupine or not. With the destruction of humans, Jay's parents were determined to keep her focus indoors, filling her time with as much as they possibly could. And it worked, they told her much of what she would need to know for her life beyond them but not much else. As human's disappeared and the vampires numbers dwindled, they noticed a rise in dragon activity, and sought to tell their daughter. It was strange to them that just over 100 years ago the dragons hid and humans still prospered.
As Jayda got older she struggled to be a person on her own, loving her family but needing to make her own place in the World. They consented because they didn't have much choice, Jay had already surpassed her Mothers power level as a Shifter and was capable of more than her Father. She found a little corner to call her own, spending her days exploring the streets of a world she thought was much different. Within that corner she spent much of her time exploring her Lupine side as well, strengthening her beast and becoming stronger.
Strengths:
* Enhanced strength and senses: Due to her long years as a shifter and by spending large amounts of time in her alternate form.
*Extremely agile/flexible: Jayda spent years perfecting her form in gyms and with other fitness training and spent years dancing in various forums.
*Can take on true animal form: Due to her being of an alpha nature
* Good Judge of Character: Over time Jayda has been able to tell who around her are more than likely to cause her trouble.
*Has basic combat knowledge: Not particularly skilled in hand to hand combat, but would know enough to defend herself if she needed to.
Weaknesses:
*Silver to any degree: This because of her species.
*Shift sleep if time changed is under two hours: Generally due to the nature of her shifting, and not having enough energy to stay awake after.
*"Bad" Boys: They have always caught her fancy, and will redily admit that she prefers them over the ones that seem like they still have some form of innocence.
*Trusts Easily: Jay likes giving people the benefit of the doubt and is often disappointed.
*Not Street Smart: Jayda has spent most of her life inside or trying to ignore the changes happening on outside.
Powers: True Animal Form: Jayda can take on her true animal form of a wolf, larger than the one found in the wild but no human features like that of her hybrid.
RP Sample:
Life was so much different than what she read in the books. Even 100 years ago seemed like much more of a fairy tale then the harsh reality of the present. Part of her wished she could go back, to see her ancestors, to see the wars and the way the World turned to become what it was. But she couldn't, and now she would have to deal with reality, no matter how harsh it seemed.
With a reluctant sigh, Jayda finished writing in her journal and swung her legs out of her bed. The place she was living in sucked, she needed to find somewhere else to hide away in. But it would do, and it had all the essentials she needed with the end of each day. Food, shelter, shower and her bags of clothes. All a girl could ever need. But today was different, all those things could be cast aside. She was going to look for others, other lupines. There had to be some, she just needed to actually move out and look for them. And there was no denying how hard it could be, but she was determined. The thoughts of being around others of her kind running through her mind as she prepared for the day ahead.
