Bekka walked along the dark cracked footpath the air was chilly but not uncomfortable. Even though the air was pleasant the feeling she got as she walked along the path alone wasn’t. She shouldn’t have left the theme park. But she was in search of a new home and she didn’t want to venture to far from where she could find her Aida if she needed her help, or company. She pushed her hands into her coat pocket and continued along the path her eyes darting around at everything just in case something was there. What would she do if something was there? She started to freak herself out thinking about what would happen if she was attacked. She wasn’t very good a defending herself.
She looked around at the many dead and dying trees that where around. She wished that this place was beautiful again; she wished she didn’t have to fear the darkness. But she didn’t know any different she was born into this time of peril and wishing things where better was only in vain. Nothing was ever going to be safe again. Soon she spotted a tree that wasn’t quite dead yet and headed for it. She would rest there for a little while; she needed to rest her legs for a little while as she had been walking for a fair while. She had gotten lost a couple of times and went around in circles. Finally finding her way again she headed in this direction. Now she wished she hadn’t.
Dropping her back pack to the ground she sat down on the dead grass and pulled her back pack on to her lap and hugged it tightly against her chest. Her legs began to relax and the awful aching feeling started to fade. She should have rested sooner but was to scared to stop. Now she couldn’t go on any further without stopping. She should be ok, if she didn’t do anything that would draw attention to herself she shouldn’t be noticed by anything. Well she hoped anyway, it wasn’t a big deal it wasn’t like she was going to be hanging around for very long. Just until her legs regained their strength she should be alright. Everything was silent there were no animals or people around. It was eerie.
It was then when a large bull ant crawled up her sleeve and bit into her skin. The sudden pain from the bite made her yell out in fright. She slapped at her arm and shook it around, the dead ant fell from her sleeve. She rubbed the welt on her arm as looked around the place, praying that her sudden outburst of noise didn’t attract any unwanted attention. She knew that there were creatures out there with super human hearing and they could be miles away and still hear her pained yells. She just hoped that nothing was in earshot of her stupid screams. Blasted ant, if anything did hear her and come investigating then it would be its fault if she is attacked.
She pulled out her make-shift dagger just in case, even though it probably wouldn’t do any damage. But she felt safer holding some form of weapon in her hands. She would just strike out crazily if anything was to attack her. She wasn’t going down without a fight. She clutched the dagger and her eyes zoom around in their sockets scanning the area for anything moving. After a few minutes there was nothing around. She relaxed as if anything had heard her then they would have shown themselves by now. She was in the clear. For now.

Any creature which tried to pass through shadows passing were usually torn to pieces by a certain enslaved, alpha lion. This alpha stalked through the grass as if he were in the jungle, hunting for prey. Of course, this tall grass was his jungle and he loved to hunt for the roaming creatures of this here, park. As the time flew by and no creature were in sight, Vincent was about to give up, but then his nose picked up the scent of a female human. So the lion took off in the direction of his next prey, due to this prey being human, Vince knew that he would need to be granted permission to feast off her. So he wished to stalk her, and then capture her.
Which was why he followed her, of course he used his skills as a hunter to remain out of sight. When she took up camp near a tree, he licked his lips. Then he smirked as an ant bit her, since she wailed in pain, the wail came out as a rather loud scream. This may be the best time to strike, but she glanced around after she swatted the tiny creature. This halted the lion's approach, and then she pulled out a knife, with that in mind, Vincent knew it may be a difficult task to attack her, since that knife could be silver. The very thought of that knife being silver made Vincent cringe, but he was too proud to allow that stop him from his task at hand.
And that was why, Vincent pounced into the air, within mid pounce, Vincent's bones reverted, his spinal corder erected in a vertical manner, his furr diminished and just before he landed, he was fully human. The lycan purposely fell short of his prey, he landed upon the ground within his human form, once he was in her sight, he circled her. His tongue snaked out and licked his lips as he said "Good evening, miss. Didn't your parents even tell you not to pass through vampire lands unless you want to be feasted upon?" Vincent paused to give her a chance to reply to that question before he continued "Now you might be wondering what I am doing here too, right?" The lycan paused again to give her yet another chance to answer his question, and then he added "Well, it's quite simple, I live here." These words were more of a statement than anything.
As he awaited for her to reply and for her to give him signs of a reaction to the words that he had just spoke, the lycan continued to circle her and lick his lips. It should become more evident to what his motive was. The lycan knew that his body would need to rest very soon, which was why he wished to get this over with, soon. As his mistress would not like the fact that he tired himself out too much, as he was meant to lay upon her floor curled up in a ball. However, he was stubborn and would not allow himself to rush his hunt. Not even if it meant that he would die.
Of course if Keira ordered him to hurry up, he would probably rush slightly, but just to get himself in trouble, he'd take his time a little also. Now Vincent began to sense the fear in this girl's being, it was evident that she had been frightened since she got here, and even though she held that knife, from the look of her, she seemed to be harmless. So Vincent said "Now, now little one, no need to fear me, yet. I have come to offer you a place to, let's just stay for awhile. What do you say?" This was somewhat, truly a trick, so that he could see if he would be allowed to snack upon her, which meant that he needed to ask Keira if she could stay, while he enjoyed her as his next meal. Of course, Vincent was granted meat from his Mistress, so that he could remain alive, so there was a chance he would be denied this meal. And the chance for the denial of his prey were strong.

Bekka could feel the heaviness of sleep dawning on her eyes. They wanted to close but she refused to fall asleep out here. She couldn’t be left venerable and unaware of anything sneaking up on her. She knew that if she closed her eyes for even a second sleep would overcome her. She hadn’t slept in over thirty six hours and if she was to fall asleep she feared that she wouldn’t wake up to anything. She wouldn’t be brought down without a fight just because she couldn’t keep her stupid eyes open. Even though she had relaxed her muscles she still clutched her knife close to her chest. Anything could be out there, silently watching her waiting for her be at her most venerable.
Bekka could feel as though something was near and fear and panic started to rise in her throat and her heart started to pound in her chest like it wanted to burst out through her rib cage. She gripped the hilt of her knife that hard that her knuckles turned white. She hated having this feeling. Being alone for so long and having to defend for herself she sort of developed a six sense in knowing when something that wasn’t quite normal was around and she was having that sense right now it was going mental in her brain. It was telling her to get up, leave, find somewhere safer. But she couldn’t move, frozen in fear god she wished she had something better than this blasted knife.
Then there was a voice that made her jump almost out of her skin and cry out in fright, she muffled it as much as she could be slapping her hand across her face. The man before her asked her if her parents had ever warned her not to venture into vampire territory. She frowned at this question. “They probably would have if they weren’t dead” She replied quickly, having her fear turn to anger. Her parents when crazy and her father killed her mother with a shotgun and turned it on her and her brother. If they hadn’t fled then he would have killed them as well. Soon after their escape he turned the gun on himself. He spoke again her attention snapped back at the situation at hand.
“Well if you live here then at much mean your something unusual, something a little not normal” She said, slowly getting to her feet her back plastered to the tree trunk. She wasn’t prepared to let her back be exposed to this man or anything that might be around. But like always the fear seeped back into her body again kicking the anger out. There wasn’t enough room in her body for both. She was strong enough though to not let the trembling known to the man before her. She knew that showing fear wasn’t the same as an immortal sensing it. She needed to be strong in the face of this man; she wasn’t going to be seduced by his handsome face and his charm. Easier said than done.
He then spoke again, he told her not to fear her and he wanted to offer her a place to stay. Why would he want to do that, maybe it was a trick. She really wished that Aida was here right now, she was strong and intimidating and she could stand and protect her. But she wasn’t here and she needed to say something to this man. If she refused his offer then he probably would kill her, if she accepted and it was a trick then he would probably kill her later. There was no way out of it. She then thought that maybe if she accepted then she would have more time to plan away to escape and she would have more chance at survival. She swallowed the lump in her throat and spoke.
“I’m not sure what you deal is sir but I’m guessing I don’t really have a choice in this matter so, I’m going to have to take you up on that offer” She said, no emotion on her face at all, she was trying to be as strong as she could and appear as serious as possible. Already her brain was plotting how to get away from this situation in the near future. She wouldn’t be this man’s prey, no she wouldn’t. She had survived this long on her own and she wasn’t going to let this be the end of her. She picked her back pack up off the ground and slung it over her shoulder the knife still clutched in her hand. She wasn’t letting go of her only weapon anytime soon.

This girl certainly did not know what she was about to get herself involved in but she would surely find out and all Vincent could think about was how this gorgeous vixen tasted. Soon after she had answered his offer with an acceptance, he simply smirked and said "Then follow me, my dear." With that, he pointed his nose to the sky and sniffed the air, within seconds, he picked a strong scent, a very familiar scent, one he knew all too well.
The scent he picked up was the scent of his Mistress. He looked to Bekka and said "This way." With that, he trotted off toward his Mistress' direction, and he knew that he would wind up at Keira's swing. A scoff erupted from his throat as he thought about the last time he met her at the swing. And so this time, he hoped that it would be a different outcome this time. Like no Marc in the picture, but Vincent could not be too careful since beggars can not be choosers which meant that Marc could very well be there with Keira and this thought boiled Vincent's blood, but the alpha Leone was willing to let it slide just for his Mistress' sake.
The Leone was ready to eat this girl if his owner permitted him too but there was some doubt in his mind that she would allow him to feast upon someone as gorgeous as this girl, since as he glanced upon her form and took a whiff of the scent of her blood, he knew she would make a great donor for his Commander. The one who he looks up to as his Queen, can appear to be a slave driver but no matter what, he still adores her and he even enjoys to give her praise of worship. The Leone grew bored of moving so slow, so he stopped and looked at Bekka and then asked "Want to climb on my back after I shift, so we can get there a lot quicker?"
Once he had asked her such a question, he waited for about five minutes for her to give him an answer before he let his vertibrae bend and twist so that he was forced to walk on all fours, then his face became distorted and formed into the face of a lion with his nose and mouth being extended out into a snout. His teeth became elongated and soon formed fangs or as some would call them, canines. His legs bent and were shaped into hind legs as his arms were formed into front legs. Soon his hands and feet turned into paws. And his hair expanded and covered him from head to toe in fur, His neck became a thick bush of fur like an afro of fur but in fact it was actually formed into a mane.
Once he was within this form, he tried to speak to her to ask her "Well?" But his words would not come out, the only sound which left his mouth was a grunt or a growl. So he lifted one of his front paws and motioned for her to climb on. And wondered if she would know what he was trying to say, as he needed to know what her question was, since he had shifted into this form so he could get to his beloved Mistress a lot quicker. However, it depended on whether or not this hopefully, soon-to-be lunch would climb onto his back.

He told her to follow him, god what was she doing. She couldn’t trust him, why would he be so kind to her. She was just dinner to him, oh well she needed to figure out a plan to get herself out of this. She couldn’t and she wouldn’t just give in to him and let him eat her. But on the other hand he could be a nice guy he could be truly trying to keep her safe. Ha! She doubted that very much. There was no way a guy this handsome was a nice guy. She was deluding herself, but thinking that. There was nothing nice about this guy.
He rushed her forward again and with a grunt she took off after him. Where were they going? She had no idea and she wasn’t exactly calm about it. All the time she wishes she was dead so that she could be with her family again, but she didn’t want to die at the jaws of a lion shifter guy thing. Even though he was extremely good looking his only plan for her was dinner and nothing else. Oh well let’s hope there is a better way out of that fate. She didn’t want to be eaten alive; she just wanted to be safe for once in her god damned life.
The shifter then stopped and looked at her. She stopped in her tracks and just watched him. What was he doing, or better just what was he about to do? She just stood there and readied herself of anything that might happen. He then asked her if she wanted to ride on his back. She almost laughed out loud she wasn’t expecting to hear that come out of his mouth. “Sure” was all she could say without bursting with laughter. She then watched him as he shifted right in from of her. She had never seen it before and she was impressed.
Once he was completely shifted she was amazed at how he looked. It was extremely majestic. Something she thought she would never see in her life time. She couldn’t take her eyes off him. He then turned to look at her and she assumed he tried to say something to her but all she heard was a low growling. She was assuming he was trying to hurry her up again. So she walked over to him and put out her hand and touched the skin on his back. It was so soft, it made her want to just hug him, but of course she didn’t. That would be weird.
Snapping out of her thoughts she lifted herself onto his back. She didn’t worry about being too heavy for him to carry as she hardly ever ate and she didn’t weigh very much. She got comfortable on his back and prayed that when he took off she didn’t fall off. She gripped with everything that was graspable. There was definitely no backing out of this now, she was in for the ride, when all she really wanted was to sleep and know that when she woke up she wasn’t going to be eaten by this Lion/man.
