"It was decent out, not too decent like you'd sit outside on your porch and relax decent, but it was, nonetheless, decent out. The wind was weak and the sun beamed down like an oven and by god you could swear it be possible to cook an egg right on solid dirt if god willing. Damn, if it wasn't for such a strange day then our little friend here, Hollow wouldn't be in the big mess he's gotten himself into now. Shit, had he taken the pathway as suggested he would've been off towards some place called New Quebec, said some funny old world name, Canada I think? Well, Apparently theres a new human colony up that way and he was just headed towards it after coming back from Florida. Man, if you'd heard his tales then you would've thought he was nothing but a madman..." said a young boy to a man inquiring the location of Mr. Marc Raush "The Hollow". It seemed he had a bounty on his head funny how the small chain of humans left would even bother with these bounty postings, "but anyways, like I was saying. He was on his way to New Quebec when this gang of Raiders stopped him dead, damn dead. I was with him so you know its gotta be true. Well, see he told me in a real serious voice to run, and I did, but not far, just behind some rocks so I could watch him work. Then, like a missile, he went off, took out his rifle and started shooting down the guys. He did pretty damn good till he got shot in the arm and lost his grip on his rifle. But he didn't give up, when they got in pretty close, he took out his sword and started going at them like my grandpa with his cane when you don't listen to his stories...well...maybe with a little more blood. But all the same, so he took the sword and started doing all this fancy stuff like you'd see in one of those movies, as my grandpa told me about. He kept on dodging em' and slashing and all that fun stuff till one of them got him from behind and grabbed his arm. He looked a little different though, real tribal with skulls on his belt and what not, but he was one scary lookin' sonofabitch! Anyway, what happened next is that he took that arm of his and flipped him on his back. Then, after that, he pulled the sword right out of his hand and gave him a growl like I've never seen a man do! After that, he gave him a good knocking in the face, enough to get him to bleed and then go lights out. Then he picked him up and carried him off towards some old building where the raiders normally hang out. Well anyway, mister, its starting to get dark so I should be going now," the kid said beginning to walk away, halting only when the man spoke, "now wait a sec there Timmothy..." his voice sending a shiver down his spine, "don't you want your reward?" turning then as the man stood there handing him a bag full of all sorts of parts. It was part of their trade for the time spent in detailing Hollow's location. He quickly took the bag and ran through, this guy gave him the creeps. The man just smiled as he waved to the scared little boy and went on. It was getting dark, just about time for him to let go and change. He was glad the kid had ran on home, he didn't want him to see what he really looked like...
After he arrived there at the Raider's base of operations, he was confronted by one of the men outside who approached. If one could describe the man, he looked like some sort of Neo-Native American with tires and pieces of metal from signs as part of his outfit accompanied by a Mohawk and some piercings made of bones, "Hey, whats the big idea?!" he said in a rude tone to the random man, having no other time to speak as the man dressed in a nice black suit with a white shirt and black tie combo grabbed him by the face and slammed his head against the wall, crushing it with one swift movement like a child would a jelly bean. A disgusting mixture of blood and brains oozed out from the mess of bones, skin and hair, causing the other raider at the door to piss himself. However, he still stayed his ground, firing random shots at the man who easily stepped aside with each shot fired until he came up to the raider and ripped the gun from his hands, throwing it to the side as the man grasped him by the arms and ripped them right out of their sockets, the raider screaming in pain, crying like an infant as he begged for his life, only to be denied as the man silently brought his hand towards his right shoulder as if to heavily slap him, instead his hand clenched in a fist as he brought it towards the side of the raider's head with great speed, making contact and instantly snapping his neck, letting the raider fall limp and dead on the ground before him. The man chuckled then as he opened the doors, making his way through the darkness of the halls till he came to a chamber where he saw hollow, the raider leader, and three other raiders armed with assault rifles and one with a hot brand.
The Raider leader ordered for the hot brand be given to him by reaching out at the middle raider who held it as he said to Hollow,"Do you know how hard it is to find good men to steal off you misfortunate blood bags? Its already hard enough to find a reasonable vampire to sell you off to, what with the whole lot of them lowering in population, but now I've got barely any men left to hunt down more of you!" he sighed. taking the brand and hovering it over Hollow's face, "you disgusting, worthless piece of trash...you're not even worth the pay I'll get off of you, you know that? Oh well, you'll be out of my hair pretty soon and then I'll just recruit some more guys. The pays lucrative enough after all. Isn't that right boys?" they of course nodding as to not upset this beast of a man who was literally that. Then, just when he was going to put the brand to Hollow's face, the sound of a metal pipe moving, caused the Raider leader to look up and whisper, "what was that?" as he signaled to his men to check around, he too, going on to search as Hollow remained there in the center on his knees, tied up relatively well.
Then, from the darkness Hollow heard the scream of one man and saw the shots go off in the dark and then another in another corner and then finally one more. "Something isn't right here..." he said, "something is definitely not right here..." as he pulled out a knife he had hidden from the raiders in his coat, beginning to cut through the ropes one by one. However, he remained there, still and silent until their return or the person or thing decided to show itself in the dark. Next though, Hollow heard the sound of growling and roars and then the thrashings of one beast against another for a good thirty minutes until all went silent for five minutes until he heard a light whine and then a snapping noise, followed by a heavy thud sound against the stone floor. Hollow waited then as the man, the bounty hunter walked out in his suit and tie and said, "looks like its just you and me now, huh?"
Hollow, wide-eyed, simply said, "You sir have to be the craziest, most ruthless hunter I have ever seen in a business suit. For that, I give you the benefit of an honorable duel rather than me simply come at you and kill you."
The man chuckled at the statement, following Hollow's words with, "whatever you say there buddy," as he lifted Hollow and brought him outside and dropped him down on the dirt. "So, you need any help getting untied there?" he asked, choking on his own words when Hollow stood up and the ropes dropped with him saying, "nah, I think I'm good, but I would love my weapons. After all, its not a fair fight if a werewolf has his teeth, fangs and claws and all I've got is a dinky little dagger. I'm only human after all. You've gotta give me something better to work with, right?"
The man chuckled and said, "alright, Mr. Raush, I'll get your gear..." making his way back inside to look for the things the raider had removed from Hollow's Possessions. Hollow had given the bounty hunter a "shopping list" in order to get t he right things, and to the hunter's surprise, Hollow was still standing there outside with a simple grin from seeing all his toys coming back to him. However, quickly, he went up and gave the hunter a hug as he said, "you such a nice werewolf, you know that? Most of your kind that I come across just want to rip my head off all impatiently, but you're different." the hunter simply chuckled and handed the items over to Hollow and watched as he sorted them out, putting them on and what not in their assigned locations until he said, "Right, I'm ready!"
So, with that the hunter changed from a man in a black suit to a black furred wolf-man, growling and snarling as he ran at Hollow. That was his que, Hollow quickly got on a knee and gave steady aim, letting off a few rounds and then rolling out of the way of the beast as it past by him. He'd missed most, but he knew he had gotten it in the leg from how the beast gave a weakened howl of pain as it let it's left leg drag a bit and then return to the combat, coming at Hollow with a restored rage. Hollow, keeping cool in the fight, or trying, sent off another burst of shots, but this time he missed all of them as the beast came at him trying to thrash him with his claws until he pinned him down and tried to bite at him, Hollow holding his gun out, placing his gun in the beast's maw as it gnawed at it and snarled in rage, Hollow then trying to the best of his ability to move an arm, finally gaining enough freedom in his left arm to pull out the knife from before and begin to stab the beast in it's side multiple times as the creature kept trying to break through the gun. He'd almost succeeded too until finally Hollow pulled out his sword and gave one good and true stab as the beast gave a long and painful howl, finally going limp right on top of Hollow, pinning him beneath it's now dead, heavy body. However, after some trial and error, he wiggled free and patted himself off as he fumbled around beneath the werewolf and retrieved his sword and rifle, sheathing the sword as he holstered the rifle, which was now in need of great repair, on his back. As for the knife, he returned it to it's concealed location and went over to his other belongings and picked them up. He looked over at the wolf and sighed, saying, "Another good creature of this world has died and I'm at fault for it. Such a shame, I never did ask him was his name was..." as he laid against the wall of the large building, exhausted from the combat and all the torture he'd endured inside the building. a few hours ago, they'd drowned him a couple of times and beat him, hence the bruise marks on his face and all over his back and chest, but otherwise he was pretty decent. He watched in silence as the sun was now fully out of view and night had claimed the land. It was from that moment that he knew it was going to be one hell of a night.

(After Meeting Woundweaver)
Walking through the abandoned streets she could almost taste the blood in the air. It was like that many evenings, humans and creatures all seemed to have this lust to hurt one another anymore. Maybe it had always been that way but with the few numbers of so many it didn't make sense to her. None of it was her worry though, she looked out for herself and only herself. It was easier and safer that way. No one was around to tell her what to do, being lonely was something that she had became very acustomed to. Her mother was gone her family moved and she didn't even bother with a pet of any kind. Just one other mouth to feed, it wasn't that she hadn't tried it in the past. A pet didn't last long because when she couldn't find prey for her she either ate them, sucked them dry or did a little bit of both, little or small it didn't matter. It wasn't like animals were easy to find that were able to be trained.
Using her staff as a walking stick for extra support across the broken up ground she continued on her way, going no where special but keeping her eyes and ears out for anything, anyone or him. Green eyes narrowed at the thought of the male who was trying to get her. He wouldn't suceed she would kill him before going willingly with him. Letting out a soft growl she pushed the thoughts of him away. As the crumbling buildings became more and more and some just piles of rubble she knew that she had traveled past the limits of the city. The normal people who kept watch would let people pass in and out of the city but often wished the sorry bastard luck for venturing into the unknown. It didn't bother Aida in the least. She wanted some excitment and to toss her scent around confuse others and maybe find something to let out her frustration on.
The further out of the city limits the stronger the scent of blood became as well as gunpowder. Rolling her eyes she pulled the hood off her head freeing her long blonde and red braids. They were pulled up in a ponytail, it was the easiest way to not have to worry about her hair getting in her way. Looking up at the sky as she walked to the top of a small hill, it had at one point in time been a large building that now was nothing but rubble. The night was darker then normal but her night vision was exceptional. One of the blessings of being a half breed, especially a vampire. Moving lightly down the rubble when she heard a noise she pushed herself up against the last crumbling wall of a building. Holding her breath she watched as two rouge vampires were following her scent. Smirking she looked at them before turning and taking off into the night. She wanted some excitment and a bit of cat and mouse would do just that. Glancing behind her she undid the tie to her hooded robe letting it fall behind her. Exposing her bare shoulders as she was wearing only a red and black corsett top that she had made and a pair of tight black leather pants, tucked into her boots.
Not wanting to give them anything to catch her easily with she was making her way to where she saw a few buildings still standing. The stentch of death was stronger in the air but it would give her more a place to hide, take cover and then take them out. She could have taken them but just incase someone was out in the open her hair was a give away and a normal, human female would not be able to take a vampire. Aida was not giving herself up after all of these years of hiding. Using her staff for a bit of leverage over the rubble she moved to turn and use a wall for a bit of cover. She felt a sharp pain in her arm just as she turned leaning against the wall she looked down seeing the blood seeping from the wound. "Damnit" she hissed as the blood flow didn't slow down, it seemed that the vampires were out looking for shifters. Shaking her head she took a deep breath creeping along what was left of the wall and peeking out to see how close they were getting to her. This game of cat and mouse was going to end quickly. Laying her staff down on the ground she pulled out a dagger from her boot as one of them thought that they would be sneaky and sneak up close on her. Stabbing the bastard in the foot, her elbow connected with its face as she picked up the staff, spinning it around she connected with the female vampire's skull. Hearing the sicking sound of bones crushing she smirked as the vampire crumbled from the pain. Kicking it hard in the chest to keep it down she took her hands twisting its head, hearing the bones of its neck snap. Not content to leave it just like that and how she had not brought any propper weapons with her she pulled out a matchbox she carried in her bag.
Lighting the match she smirked, using her power as she dropped it on the vampires chest. The whole body caught of fire and the fire spread faster than it should have. Looking down as the creature was burning she kept her other senses open for anything. There were still two more out there, that was if they were brave enough to try.

If not for the light off in the distance accompanied by the heavy sounds of something cracking, he would of thought it nothing but a simple animal shifting about off in the distance over some rubble. So, quickly he began to ready himself, taking out his rifle as he stood. He'd need to make a fire to help him see better or else he'd be done for. Whatever lived in this darkness was very capable of killing and something just seemed to tell him, with a glow almost about the thought, that it wasn't just a band of raiders. After all, raiders never came out at night for they too knew the dangers of it, how suicidal it was to even think about it, especially if you've got nothing to help you see them coming your way. So that settled it, he'd build a fire, even if it was just painting himself as a target. So long as he had a fire, he'd be able to make out the outlines of whatever was in the area and stop them there and then. Of course, he would try to appeal to their better side before killing them, something he couldn't do with the hunter. After all, if a hunter bothers to come all the way there to kill you, he probably isn't in the mood to turn around and go home. Traveling folk, on the other hand, are quite willing at times and then sometimes they're just shifters looking to cause trouble.
To move, he brought his rifle out in front of him, looking it over as he did so. He noted it wasn't in the greatest of shape but from the looks of it, he'd still be able to get it to fire. so, as the soreness rushed through him, he gave out a long groan of discomfort, his adrenaline rush from the fight earlier very much squashed, which would only make this far more difficult. Being human was a challenge the likes of which no other being out there could understand. Its just that they're so fragile and weak and easy to break that makes them such complex beings, yet the fact that any single moment could be their last however is something so very beautiful; to know that one second you could be there and the next your just a pile of blood and guts on the ground somewhere.
He thought it over in his head though that if he were to die here then he'd feel like he hadn't seen it all yet, like there was still something left for him to do; He knew in his heart that there was something to do still. However, he banished the thought immediately, working then on getting one thing and one thing only, fire wood. So, using his rifle as a crutch of sorts, he went along, limping in pain, such a sad sight to see, like a dog without a leg. As he went, events played out in his head of the past, some good some bad, each time changing as he found a piece of wood to add to the pile. Although, as he kept collecting, he found himself moving in closer to the light source not too far off.
As he kept moving, he finally eased out enough to listen to the simpler sounds of the world, hearing the wind softly blowing about, meeting his ears and cooling his face, the sound of small animals scurrying about as they heard the sound of his footsteps, their pitter patter sound, as he approached with such care. He even heard the sound of small plants swaying lightly, caught in the current of the breeze, captivated almost as if they were in some sort of night dance of the stars, their hot white piercing the sky next to the moon, which let down it's glow only in very specific places, leaving this area he occupied, light-less, other than the light not too far off that was a group of many different oranges and yellows, contrasting the blues and blacks of the surrounding area.
Eventually, the inevitable happened, he found himself there at the scene, seeing before him a burning corpse and the back of a woman, quite a beautiful one from the simple details and outlines he could make out in the dim firelight. He found himself surprised at this as he dropped the collected wood that he'd held in a bundle under his right arm at his feet. He didn't think she was a Vampire merely because of her skin tone. Vampires usually weren't so tan. However, he wasn't about to just let his guard down, instead putting his right hand into his green wool trench coat and leaving it in there, holding on for dear life that he held to him closely for protection. It was a feeling of fear that filled him there, standing so quietly, the fear that his sided thoughts were true, that she was indeed a vampire or something like it. He wasn't sure what to do, being in such a close proximity that she'd easily be able to get to him in time and grab him. He only hoped that if she was such a creature that she would show him kindness and that if she wasn't, she would perhaps allow him to stay here a while. Yet, little to his knowledge did he realize what lurked in the darkness behind him, waiting for the right time to strike, watching them there in silence, a nonetheless, patient creature who was interested in striking only when the time was right.
So, after a few moments, he dared to speak a word even a simple, "hello..." as he stood there as still as a statue, not moving, keeping all direct contact on her, the female figure that he had instilled so much fear into via paranoia. Yet it was the fact that he was so paranoid that he's been alive as long as he has, it after all something to hold on to. He was only human after all, what else could he do? He wanted to just be able to say hello and approach to greet her more appropriately but he couldn't, not now when instinct over-ruled his diplomatic lifestyle of try to appeal to their better side. Then again, he didn't know their better side, or even their face yet, making it complex already for the widdled silly human.

She watched the fire burn over the body of the vampire. Glancing down at her arm as she finally felt the blood start to drip off her fingers, sticky, hot and so very tempting. What a waste this vampire had made her bleed, never tasting a drop of her blood. Lifting her hand she slipped it into the bag tied to her waist. Pulling out a cloth she slowly wiped the blood from her arm. The whole time she listened to the others in the area. Aida beleived that the others that had been after her the other female and the male either took off or were waiting silently for her to move. She had no intention of leaving until the burning corpse infront of her was nothing but ashes on the ground. It was a pitty, shame or just plain crazy that many of the vampires turned out the way they were. She wanted nothing more then to fine peice but the beating of her heart and the fresh blood flowing through her veins drew them to her. Most were so crazy they didn't know she was special until it was to late then they could never tell another of what she was.
Hearing soft footsteps of someone or something injured moving her way she smelled the blood, healing wounds on it. Not bothering to turn around she lowered herself to the ground pulling the blade off the ground. Holding it over the fire she let it heat up. Watching the blade turn red hot, she rolled the handle in her hand standing up slowly. Hearing the male voice behind her she smirked, glancing over her shoulder at him. Her green eyes studied him as she stood up slowly, then turned to face him. Her one arm wrapped around her waist as she gripped the material of her corset as she raised the blade to her arm. Feeling the heat on her skin she kept his eyes as she hissed in pain, touching the red hot blade to her wound. Cauterizing it as she smirked at him, Aida only left the blade on her skin for a few seconds. It was long enough to close the wound, stop it from bleeding. It was the best she was going to be able to do out here.
"Being wounded, out here in the dark isn't the safest thing." she said as she stabbed the dagger into the ground at her feet. Smiling she stood back up pushing her braids off her shoulders, her chin lifted a little as she looked him over once more. "What the hell did you run into out here?" she asked motioning him closer. She would not bite or attack him, plus if he tried anything her staff was right by her feet. That was all she needed, the blade wouldn't do much good to her right now, plus she was gifted with the staff, the blade was just extra protection in this crazy world.

He watched her carefully and approached her slowly, weak and powerless, he fell at her feet as he tried to get up once again, groaning. It seemed he'd caused himself more harm than hurt his last fight and now he was paying for it with a weakened body as he quickly lost his grip on his rifle, it falling a ways away from him as he tried to stand on his own, his arms in a great deal of pain as well. Soon he found himself losing sight from an old beating he'd had long ago that he didn't seem to know he had, yet there, on the ground he kept trying to lift himself up, proof that humanity seemed to always press hard to try and survive, even when everything seems lost and death is in plain sight. Of course, that wasn't the case here, he was just physically beaten and extremely worn out from the fight that had happened a while back.
On top of that, he was about to have one of his famous black outs and so he decided to ask her for some help, "I'm about to black out in a few moments so I'm asking you with great kindness, will you please watch over my body while I'm in this state. I'll give you whatever you find desirable of my things, blood, trinkets, weapons, whatever you wish. I merely ask that you at least help me with this one thing. I promise you, you will find yourself a friend if you do this for me," and with that, he fell into the blackness of his wipe out as he went limp and laid there on the ground. He was stable so he was alright, he just needed help, whatever small help someone could provide for him. A troublesome human he was indeed, yet something about him seemed to make him worth the trouble, at least that's what people told him most of the time.
So, off in his head he drifted, seeing things he'd never seen before, soldiers shouting and firing their weapons in places he'd never need before, a pair of eyes watching him in the chaos of it all, a woman's face that he'd never known before flashing in and out like the flicker of light from a candle. He'd asked many people what these visions meant and yet no one seemed to know, the only thing he ever seemed to get was that it might be the ghosts of the dead trying to connect with him or it might be a vision into the future...maybe even the past.
Off in the distance, the creature, the other Vampire who had waited so patiently, came closer and then finally it came at the two like thunder hitting the earth, quick and powerful as it was ready to try and end the two's lives. Maddened and blood thirsty, it found that this two for one special was far too much to just leave alone as it gave into the primal instincts of hunger and survival yet such desperation was only saddening as the beast of a man hissed attacking with bare hands focused on trying to get at Hollow first and then her.

She was a bit perplexed when he didn’t answer her question. Instead he fell over at her feet, his weapon falling away from him. Aida wasn’t sure if this was a game, a way to make her feel sorry for him as he struggled to get up. It looked so real as he struggled looking up at her. Her eyes widened when he asked her to watch out for him as he was about to black out. How did he know such a thing was going to happen? He was injured, but he didn’t appear to be that injured. Shaking her head, she glared at him when he mentioned trading and the first thing from his mouth was blood. The chance to ask him why he would offer her blood was held on her tongue as he did fall back to the ground, out cold. He truly did black out and he left his life in her hands. Standing back up there was a soft breeze that picked up a few of her braids as she stared down at him.
Aida didn’t have to stay there and watch over him, she was very tempted to just walk away. He had asked for her help though to watch him in his time of need, where he could not protect himself. Lowering herself down to her knees she pushed a few strands of his hair off his forehead as she studied the damage to his face. There was a scent about him that called to her predator side. Never had she tasted to blood of a human and she would never do so. It was a promise she had made to herself when she found out what she was. To taste human blood had the chance to turn her as crazy as the two that were still out there in the night. The scent of them hung in the air, over the burning scent of their fellow member. She whispered to him as the corpse’s fire she burned but was slowly dying out. “Why did you have to pick me?” It was a simple question as she didn’t want the responsibility of anyone else’s life but her own.
It was if the vampire knew he was down and she was distracted by him. He came running at them fast, determined and bloodthirsty. If one had the chance to guess it probably had not tasted the blood of a human in months. The ones that patrolled the city kept most of the rouges from slipping in. Turning her head she didn’t have the time to reach for her staff or for the dagger sticking out of the ground. Her moving towards the human moved her away from her weapons. Moving quickly as she saw its outstretched hands for the man laying there on the ground. Aida put herself between the vampire and the human taking the full impact of the creature. Falling on her back she hissed back at the vampire as its one hand curled around her throat. Struggling underneath it she felt its fingers sink into the wound on her arm breaking it open once more. Biting back a scream she did the only thing she could think of to get it off of her.
Looking straight at it as it raised its blood covered fingers to its mouth, she braced herself, hands on its chest as it licked her strong blood from them. Watching its eyes roll back in its head she froze, her chest rising and falling as enjoyed the taste. Growling she watched as he licked his lips showing his fangs at her. Taking a breath she smirked at him and as he leaned back down she head butted him as hard as she could. His grip loosened on her throat giving her the option of knocking it off balance. Her arm ached as she felt her blood pour down it once more. This fight was going to cause her to need blood to heal but that wasn’t the first thing on her mind. First was to get rid of the bastard now beneath her. Fingers curled around the male vampire’s throat. “You just watched your friend burn by my hand and still you try to attack me…” she hissed at him. Removing one hand from around its neck she punched it in the face as she felt its hands move to her arms fingers digging into the wound once more. Biting back a scream of pain she wasn’t fully stuck but couldn’t move or he would be free to go after the man. She bared her fangs at it trying to catch it off guard, but it had already tasted her blood, it wanted more and he was moving to much, hungrier then before, struggling more, its fingers tearing deeper into her flesh. “No” was all she growled at him.

One might think this impossible, a human, waking up from a coma-like state through sheer will alone, but he did it, standing with a great burst of adrenaline as he hobbled over to his rifle, trying carefully to lift it and then ready himself to aim. Finally, moving a little closer to the two, the half-breed and the full blood and then saying, "Hey, buddy!"
The Vampire suddenly looked towards the weakened man's direction and gave out a "huh?" sound. Next a soft click emitted from his gun and he yelled at the Vampire, "Fuck off!" pulling t he trigger as the contraption's gears began to wind and turn and every little sound seemed to go in the slowest motion ever, light smoke coming from out of the chamber as the exhaust tubes on the top of the rifle let out steam and the flash from the end of the barrel sent the bullet flying at the horrified Vampire awaiting his end. Just then, it all went fast and the Vampire's brains exploded everywhere, his body shaking violently like someone going through a seizure as next his chest began to rise and fall rapidly like he was about to explode,. Well, his heart did at the highest of rising points, the Vampire next falling hard and turning to nothing but ash beneath the Half-Breed, he lowering his rifle as he fell on his ass and told her, "Thanks, I'd probably of died if it wasn't for you. You're a nice one, you know that? Say, whats your name...? I'm, well, a wanted man, but the name is Marc Raush. Just call be hollow though, I'd much prefer it."
Next he scooted over to his pack and took out two injectors, tossing her one as he said, "I'll answer any question you've got for me, but heres some Sedatives. It kills the pain on minor wounds like those," injecting himself as the light blue liquid pumped into his veins and he sighed, laying on his back. She'd gained his trust by helping him so he didn't really see any reason to watch her to make sure she didn't try to harm him. However, his promise of a reward resurfaced in his mind as he sat up and said, "by the way, do you want your reward for helping me out? I promised whatever you wanted of mine to you and I'll stay to my word," he sitting there, looking her in the eyes.

She struggled with the vampire male keeping him pinned beneath her. Finger curled around his jugular not doing much else but controlling his damn head. The last thing that she wanted was for fangs to sink into her skin. Her blood wasn’t for free and no one needed to taste it at all. Aida didn’t even know what her blood could do to another. In her struggle she had to bite back the pain in her arm as the vampire dug deep into the wound tearing the ends even more, causing a new searing pain to shoot through her body. Instead of moving like she normally would have off of him she struggled back hoping for the odd stranger to awaken from his odd blackout as he called. It. This was one reason why she didn’t travel with anyone and only looked out for herself.
Hearing a voice behind her she stilled, tossing all her weight into the vampire keeping him pinned. She forced herself to use her bad arm. Lifting her hand she connected with the creatures nose, trying to distract him enough but it seemed to do nothing. The voice on the other hand did distract him. His fingers stopped their digging giving her one small moment to relax before she heard the shots of the humans gun. Aida had every chance to move off the body but she didn’t. Instead she ended up with blood and brain matter splattered all over her face and any other bit of her that was close to him when his head exploded. Instantly as its body turned to ash she was on the ground sitting amongst the ashes. On a normal night she would have moved but not tonight she sat there holding her arm against her body as she shivered involuntary. Shaking her head she slowly looked at the male that was thanking her.
She watched him fall back to the ground and arched an eyebrow as she still was refusing to move. Licking her lips she wiped the blood, or smeared it off her face as she turned to look at him with a confused look on her face. Aida ignored him thanking her, she always had this hope that if more people left in this world would try a nice thing that maybe it could make it a brighter place, even with all the bad and the dark she had seen there was still a small sliver of hope. “A nice one?” she asked very curiously, “Nice what?” her eyes remained focused on him the whole time. Remembering just then that he had bargained well more like offered blood if she needed it but how did he know? When he asked her name she smirked giving him her name, “Aida, that is all I go by…” not having to ask his name he gave it freely to her. Also stating that he was a wanted man. That would explain all the injuries that he had on his body. It just made him easier prey to all those that were hunting, wanting, and craving cleaner blood, sweeter blood.
“Hollow it will be then” her eyes moved from his as she looked at her injured arm. The vampire was so lucky it was ash or she would have made it suffer. Vampires like the two that were ashes are just crazy they can’t handle the life that was given to them or cursed. Aida watched him dig through his pack and she tensed up a little before he pulled out two injection kits. Catching the one he threw at her she looked at it a few seconds before injecting it into her arm. She wasn’t sure just how well it would effect anyone’s work. Watching him lay down she crawled a few steps closer making her closer to the wood he had collected tossing a few on the dying fire she chuckled at his comment on her reward. Her eyes turned to look at his and she shook her head. “What do you have to offer me that can benefit me in any way?” she asked as a lighter appearance took her face. Her eyes remained focused on his as she waited for an answer bad from the doctor.

"well, I'm not sure yet. After all, I don't know what you need, but trust me, I'm sure you need something. That's life unfortunately, we work for the things we need and once we've gained them, we use those things up until we have to work for more again. Anyways, your question from before; The reason I'm in such bad shape is because I was captured by a band of raiders and then saved by a bounty hunter that I dueled thereafter. He was a werewolf so I ended up using the last bit of my energy that fight to survive it," he said, standing for a moment as he brought his bag over wit him, sitting right next to her as he went on to speak, "so, you travel alone huh? Do you hate people or do you just enjoy the silence that comes with it? Either is understandable"
Carefully he moved his hand to her arm, lifting it up gently and slowly so he didn't seem to be trying to hurt her or anything as he looked it over, viewing the damage done by the Vampire as he took out some strange salve and some bandages, slowly placing the cool salve on her arm and bandaging it up as he talked, "As I was saying, you seem different from the rest of your kind, much different. You are a Vampire, right? I'm sorry if you're not, I just get this sort of feeling when I'm around them, that's just sort of how I point them out from other people, just really guessing off of a vibe I get. I've been wrong before though so I understand if you're not," After he fully wrapped her wound, he went to looking the rest of her over with caution, hoping she didn't mind. She seemed reasonably alright so he then took out some cloth from his bag and proceeded to clean her face off with it, gently doing so with care. He was, if anything, just being nice, trying to make up for getting all that stuff all over her. It just made him feel really bad about himself, like he needed to make up for it on top of owing her something.
"I know this is a sort of dumb thing to ask. But could you remember me? I don't mean for you to just think of me every waking second of the day or anything, I just want you to remember is all. We're immortal through the memories of others and so long as someone remembers then we live forever. Its sad how people don't seem to stop and remember things, places, and people. Well, I do, I'll tell you that much...I do," he said, sighing as he laid there, looking up at the sky, enjoying every single star in the sky. Something about it just seemed so peaceful, no matter the fact that it was so vast and chaotic with all those stars.
He looked over to her again though, silent for a while, looking on at her face, staring into her eyes a a while. Finally, after his wall of images had faded, he spoke, asking her, "do you read? I read pieces of things from long ago. Some of it is very interesting and even true. Others are just a hoax, although, even they two are beautiful in their meanings," he sat there, patiently, waiting for her to speak in turn, a smile across his face then as he gave a light chuckle.

Aida just listened to him and rolled her eyes, of course he didn’t know what she needed. The thing was she needed no one, nothing. Fending for herself was the easiest thing. Never had she tried to just trade, stealing and fending for herself was how she got around. Well, ever since her family had moved on. Moving quicker then most humans could follow when she tried made her stealing easier, hunting was no issue for her at all. She did have to admit to herself she liked his reasoning but she had different means for getting things. Not opening her mouth as he offered to answer her question before he had passed out on her. Her eyes stayed focused on him as she inched a bit closer to him, Making sure that she kept the fire burning not wanting to show off her Pyrokentic skills. It was something else she didn’t like others to know about, she was a very private person. Looking up at him when he said that he fought the werewolf… she was guessing Lupine bounty hunter that saved him. “So was this Lupine after you, Or do you often attack those that rescue you?” she asked curiously. Shifters had changed their names to make people not think of them out of the old horror novels and all of that. They were different but still the same, in many ways, stories after all were just that stories.
Her eyes followed him closely as he grabbed a bag and moved closer to her. Sitting there by the makeshift fire, it gave off enough heat and light that he should be comfortable. She just shrugged her shoulders at his question, not sure if she really wanted to answer it. Her eyes were watching him carefully as he reached out for her injured arm. Aida let him touch her as he looked over the wound inflicted by both vampires. It looked horrible since the male one had broken it open after she cauterized it, doing more damage then what had initially been done. Now she took the time to answer him as his attention was on the wound. “I travel alone, yes” she answered softly to him watching his hands carefully. “I don’t hate people, if I did we wouldn’t be talking.” Sitting there she watched him pull out bandages and a weird salve. Letting him place it on her skin she looked up at him confused as he was taking care of her. This was something that she wasn’t used to. His question as he started to wrap her arm up. It would have healed fine on its own especially if she fed, but that wasn’t going to be happening while she was here with him. Leaving someone injured out in this area was not safe and he was by the site of him and scent only human.
“Excuse me?” she asked when mentioning that she was different then the others. Then he asked if she was a vampire. Stiffening up she just looked at him like he grew a second head. He was bandaging her up, taking care of the wound on her arm, then he asked if she was a vampire. He continued on almost rambling to her how he got a feeling around her. That he normally had a feeling around vampires, she was half vampire so there was a good chance that he got the feeling around her. Shaking her head she watched him finish the bandage then moved to finish looking her over. She had never told anyone what she was and hadn’t planned on doing so now. “Why would I kill my own kind if I was a vampire? Why would they attack me?” she asked moving around the question not wanting to finish answering it. There was that possibility that he had woken up when she had hissed at the male vampire, but she wasn’t sure. Her secret had to stay just that a secret it was the last thing that her mother told her.
Only one other knew what she was and he was following her, hunting her for all that she knew. She let him gently wipe off her face, cleaning off the ashes and grim from the vampire. There was one moment she thought of standing up moving away from him. If she would have done so it would have been her moving to quickly away from him and then that would have raised more questions. Aida let her eyes flutter shut as he wiped her face clean then opened them when she felt that felt that she should be done. Placing her hand lightly on his wrist she pushed his hand away slowly. “Remember you?” she repeated with confusion in her voice.
Letting him finish she nodded, “I guess I can. I suppose that isn’t to much to ask” she replied to him. A little bit perplexed by what he was saying. If he wanted her to remember him she would try. After the questions that he had . Watching him lay down she picked up another log tossing it in the fire, to keep it going. She felt his eyes on her and she looked back at him, tossing her braids back off her shoulder making herself a little bit more comfortable on the ground. Smiling at him she nodded. “I used to read when I was younger, when my mother was alive….” she let the words trail off as she thought back of her mother and how she had happened to set a stack of her favorite books on fire. Shaking her head she looked back to him. “I don’t carry any on me now but some stories I believe were written to give people hope when they didn’t think any was left in this world.” lifting her one hand she waved it in the air as she laid down in front of the fire, on her stomach stretching out.
