Power Level:
Strong enough for a human with no gift.
Description:
Bekka is a subtle beauty, she thinks of herself as nothing special, but though others have commented on her beauty she thinks it only to be a kind gesture. Bekka has past the shoulder length light brown hair with dark blonde streaks. It naturally straight but she sometimes puts a wave to it. Her eyes are a dark hazel but aren’t quite brown, at feature she is rather fond of. It’s the only feature really that she believes to have any significant beauty. Her body is slim and curvy and her skin is a little pale but no matter how much she tries to tan it just wont darken. Not that she doesn’t like it, but sometimes change is better.
Bekka stands about 168cm and weighs just a little less the 115 pounds give or take depending on the day really. Her make up isn’t heavy; she wears a little bit so she feels she looks decent enough. But honestly she can’t stand the feeling of it on her skin. Despite the plainness of her appearance she feels she has, it doesn’t stop her from being a strong, confident Human and doing her Humanoid things. Her wardrobe consists of elegant dresses to everyday dresses. Some are short but others a quite long as she doesn’t really like her legs.
Again depending how she is feeling on the day she might feel confident enough to wear a dress that sits before the knee. She also likes long chunky boots, but there is also a side to her that enjoys plain heels as well. She has never been a nail biter so she keeps them moderately long and painted in dark colours. Back to her hair, she likes it down but does on often occasion have it up in a ponytail or a braid, again depending on the day
Personality:
Bekka is fun to be around, well so she had been told. She is always smiling and telling a joke or two. She loves to make people smile and happy. Even though she might not be happy herself but she always puts a brave face on. Sometimes she can be really quiet and not notice anyone around her but it isn’t very often that this happens. She tries to keep anything that will spin her into that state out of her mind, when she is around people anyway. When she is alone she is off in another world somewhere. Thinking about things that crush her heart and dampen her spirit.
Bekka is a good listener though, she is always willing to listen to anything you might have to say whether it be something exciting or whether it is something devastating. She tries to give good advice but she doesn’t always know what to say. Just being there so that people can things of their chest is what she is good for. Thunder calms her down, she loves it when its loud and unexpected. It brings a smile to her face. When people are jumping out of their skin or screaming in fright from a crack of unexpected thunder, you will find her with a smile on her face.
Now this was before her parents lost their minds completely and where killed, by their own hands. They were always pretty crazy, but they still had some sanity left before they died. After seeing what she saw, it changed her dramatically. Before they died she was as happy as she could be, but now not so much. Humanity is hanging on by a string and most of us are a little crazy. Being a surviving human in this world, she has come to realise that she herself can be a little crazy. She is always talking to herself and she cries for not reason. She is also known for a little profanity yelling. She keeps to the shadows and confines herself a lot of the time. She is a little scare of new faces and nine times outta ten she thinks they are trying to hurt her so she lashes out.
Now since there are not many humans left that hold complete sanity, she always tells herself that she isn’t crazy. Well she isn’t completely crazy maybe just a little paranoid and lonely. She had been alone for so long surviving on her own for so long she has forgotten what its like to have a friend. So usually when someone tries to approach her and tell her everything is going to be alright she turns the crazy on and thinks that its all lies and they are just trying to trick her. Its sad but true. She is fully aware of what going on in the world and the creatures that roam it.
History:
Bekka was born into the world of chaos the wonderful year of 2081. Her brother was a lot older then her, he was the sane one of the family. He protected the family from creatures of the night and anything else that might try to harm his family. Bekka looked up to her brother and spent a lot of her time with him. Her parent to mad they didn’t know what was going on anymore. She grew up mimicking her brother learning everything he knew. She pretended to listen to her parents mad ravings and she agreed with everything they said, you don’t want to disagree with a crazy person. They can sometimes get a little angry.
Now she was getting older and she started to understand what was going on in the world a little better. Her brother explained to her what was going on and what was out there. She wasn’t scared, just keen to learn to protect herself if anything horrible was to happen and her brother was willing to teach her. Soon it got to the point where her parent where that paranoid they never left the house. Well they had enough right to be paranoid as the things they feared really did exist. And it was hard for her and her brother to get by, they had to fetch their own food. Her father was something to be scared of, she should have seen it coming but she didn’t.
One night her father got the shotgun from the attic and announced that the world was no longer the place to be and in death everything would be okay. With her mother agreeing to what he said she was happy enough to step in front of the shot gun. Bekka and her brother knew better and they weren’t going to be a victim to their fathers crazy ways. Watching her father pull back the trigger on the shot gun and blowing her mother across the room. She knew then that her father was seriously messed up and she didn’t want to have anything to do with him. When he turned the shot gun on his children was when they ran, her father calling after then.
Sadly in the distance of running out into the darkness full of creatures of the night, creatures that could probably do a lot more damage then a twin barrel shotgun, they hurt the bang. Her father ate the shot gun and join her mother in the living room floor. The shots had roused much attention from the residence of their town, well it wasn't much of a town, they had kept pretty well hidden from the creatures that resided around their home thier exsistance was't very secret anymore. Through the night they were followed by people, well if that’s what they were. They hadn’t been out in the night time in a very long time and now being out there it was a whole new ball game. Hiding where ever they could they made it through the night, then made it through the day.
The next night however brought some new excitement. They were looking for a place to spend the night, so that they were safe. Her brother was attacked by something, she wasn’t sure what it was. All she can remember was watching her brother get ripped apart and her screams pounding against her ear drums. Then she was running, running to where she didn’t know. She had remember all her fighting skills that her brother had taught her but she wasn’t sure if they were going to be of any use against the things that lurked in the shadows. She ran and ran till she came across an old abandoned house in the middle of Pittsburgh. It was good enough for now.
She hid in the house all night long, rocking backwards and forwards in the floor in the corner. Not once did she close her eyes, not once did sleep tug at her mind. Her was officially scared and a little bit paranoid, just like her parents. She was alone now she had lost everything, but despite all that she was determine not to end up like the rest of them. So as time when by she claimed that abandoned home as her own and she learned the ways of the night, knowing how to stay hidden not to be caught out. Knowing when it was the right time to leave her home. She even learned how to protect herself against the night creatures and even the day ones as well.
Bekka was a little crazy, crazy with fear and loneliness. But she was happy being how she was. Just as long as nothing tried to hurt her she was doing just fine. It was the year 2100, it was a time she was born into and it was a time that she had to deal with. She didn’t know about much outside Pittsburgh but she was pretty well sure, that it wasn’t any better then where she was now.

Bekka was hungry and she knew just the place to find some food. She did have a little bit of food but it had run out. It was now time to restock her supplies. Grabbing her make shift dagger and an old battered up back pack. She slowly opened the door. The sun was glaring out and it was warm. She sighed and stepped out of her home. Knelling down behind an old arm chair that was on the porch. She scanned to area in front of her. She couldn’t see anything there and was certain that there wasn’t anything there. Stepping out onto the dead grass she made her way towards the destination in her mind.
As she walked she casually had a conversation with herself. She spoke in whispers as she didn’t want to attract anything with her god awful fog horn of a mouth. Where was she going? She was headed towards an old closed how super market that was close by. She had discovered it when she was getting to know the area. It was full of canned food. Stuff that didn’t go out of date. Well she hoped that it didn’t anyway. Well she hadn’t fallen ill or died yet she it much be all good. It wasn’t very nice to eat but it was all she had for now, she was too paranoid to look anywhere else.
The breeze picked up and she cursed to herself. Wind was a bad thing, it carried her scent all over the place, grabbing the unwanted attention from the day creatures. She quickened her pace and kept an eye out ready. She held on to her make shift dagger thing and trudged her way up the hill, paranoid at every sound. There was nothing there but she wasn’t about to take any chances. She began to wish that she was at her house, safe inside nothing can hurt her there no it cant. Seeing the broken building that was her destination she smiled knowing that soon she would be on her way back to safety and not out in the open, out in the danger.
Climbing through the broken window she looked around and listened out for anything that might be inside. There wasn’t anything there that she knew off and her continued further towards where the food was. Unzipping her bag she filled it with all the canned food that it could hold. Removing the old drink bottle she filled it up with water from the tap on the wall. Why this place had running water still was beyond her she wasn’t complaining though. Once the bottle was full she slid it into the bag and made her way back out of the building and into the world again.
Once out she looked around for anything or anyone. Feeling that it was right to move on she did. Making her way back to her home. As she was walking she was growing more and more paranoid that something was there. She got to breaking point and started to run. Nothing was there and nothing was following her but she didn’t know that. The cans in her bag banging and rattling around. If nothing was there they soon would be as she was making enough noise to rouse a herd of elephants. Coming to a skidding halt out front her house she ducked inside and slid under the bed that she had made. It was there she stayed not wanting to come out.
