Kingfield's School of Performing Arts is the most prestigious art school in the whole of England. Situated in the middle of London, this school has attracted students from all around the world for centuries. It is a school that runs over a course of three years for students aged sixteen to nineteen. Inside the school they learn to develop their talents which they have proven to have by passing the auditions to get into the school in the first place. For years this school has passed many talents into the stream without anything ever going wrong and they believe the same thing will happen this year but they are going to be proven wrong.
It's one month until the final exams for Kingfield's School of Performing Arts and things are starting to become a little chaotic. These students have spent three years practicing their talents until they have reached perfection but only ten students will get a lead into the world of their dreams. This means, as usual, emotions and tensions are high as the students practice harder than they ever have but never before has the school been so close to unwanted turmoil.
Hidden behind the shadows are people that are 'special'. People that have mental or physical abilities that they have managed to keep secret for their entire lives but someone is about to turn their worlds upside down and ruin everything that they have worked so hard to build. This isn't the only problem however as there are also creatures that have been cruising through this world pretending to be human but when one of them attacks a human, things will start to quickly unravel.
Viola Valentine has known about the dark creatures of the night for four years now and as a hunter it is her objective to destroy each and every one of them. It doesn't matter if they are 'good' or 'bad', all she knows is that they are the reason her father is always absent and why her mother died when she was only two years old. So when she hears that there is an art school in London that is crawling with creatures and people with abilities, she knows that she has to get in and so she fakes an audition and hands over plenty of cash to get inside the premises as a student. But now that she's inside, she's struggling to know who's human and who's not.
Lucinda Tate has managed to keep her secret hidden for three years without any problems but soon Jamie Ryder will meet her when she's in her wolf form and she will attack him, badly. It will be down to Paige Ford to somehow get him to safety but his injuries will be noticably made by a wolf and he'll have to decide whether or not to speak the truth about what happened to him. While at the same time Blake Smith is losing control as he has a vision of the school falling apart before his very eyes and Brittney King plans to start a fight with Karl Ghost. Other students helping to bring the school down include Jason Wright, Kristy Wright, Isla Jacobs, Thomas Fratton, Greggory Hale, Sophie Peterson, Jonathon Isaacs and Francessca Mortley.
Of course, as always there are those that will continue to try and keep the peace. Evan Black will try to stop Brittney's plans and Olivia Ford will try to make her sister stay quiet about Jamie's attacker. Then there are those others who just want to stay hidden when all the commotion starts. But can Viola stop the school from turning into a battle zone? Will they stand up as a unit and fight against Viola and the rest of the humans that stood by her side or will they split amongst themselves and start fighting each other? Will nothing happen or will the whole school end up in turmoil? And will the building be left standing when everything is over? Only time will tell but one thing is for sure, they'll always be A DREAM BEYOND reality.
