He swore that Clark Kent was dead...
Clark the Blur is back on the scene again. After all that has happened, the Superman-to-be has been blaming himself for everything that's happened- Jimmy's death, the sufference Davis Bloome experienced, Lana's departure. The man of steel is in a time of confusion, where he is at the epicentre. He's being pushed so hard now that it won't be long until he finally unleashes his true destiny. Crime has severed, and the world needs him more than ever now. A new threat faces everyone, and he isn't a native of planet Earth...
Now that Doomsday is apparently gotten rid of, a new enemy comes to Kansas little to Clark's knowledge, possibly one of Clark's greatest enemies yet; General Zod. Lex Luthor is presumed dead, after Oliver Queen 'killed' him. Lana Lang has probably left Clark's life for good now, Kara Kent is nowhere to be found lately and things have changed big time for Clark in the past year or two, bigger changes than ever before. Now is the time for Lana's exit in Clark's love life as Lois enters it. Lois Lane, ace reporter is now crushing on Clark, and both seem too stubborn to enter a relationship, but a relationship is slowly building.
So what's in store for everyone? Clark Kent is 'embracing his Kryptonian destiny' by finally starting the training that Jor-El wanted him to do. He's stopped wearing red and blue when out of the job, so he's simply known as 'The Blur' now, and people are starting to wonder if he's changed. In his normal, reporter life he still goes out on the field with crush Lois Lane, and always has time for his best friend Chloe Sullivan. Chloe is still grieving on the death of her soulmate, Jimmy (Henry James) Olsen and is trying her best to keep Clark leaning towards his human side.
Lois Lane doesn't have anything new going on for her... well, except for her crush on Clark. It's growing bigger, and Clark is no longer oblivious to it. Things are getting good between those too, perhaps something will go on pretty soon... meanwhile 'Green Arrow' Oliver Queen is having some dark moments as he battles with the ghosts of his crime; 'killing' Lex Luthor. Tess Mercer is aware of Clark's secret to an extent, but is so far keeping quiet. Her and Oliver seem to be slowly forming a somewhat relationship. What will come out of this, we don't know.
What? No, that's not it. General Zod has reached Kansas and he isn't a happy camper at all. A young version of him was released from the orb that Lois touched, a long with the whole population of the alien city of Kandor. Who knows what this tribe will be up to? One thing is for sure, and that is that a lot of darkness falls over our Smallville friends in this coming year, and they better be prepared for this. Join in on the adventure, it's a do or die, but don't be discouraged. Smallville forever!
