 It's a crazy place, our world is. Just how much do you actually know of it? Perhaps there are some things that not even Scientists, Historians or Geographers will ever discover. Who would ever think what happens in a comic book could come true? Minus the 'wham' and 'pow' speech bubbles, of course. Sure, every person wishes they had some sort of super human ability from time to time. Kids, especially, but some people believe it can be easier to cope with life if an ability was entrusted with them.
Perhaps some people would like to fly, like Superman. Or breathe under water like Aquaman. Maybe even control the weather, like Storm of the X-men. Others prefer to be Invisible, or maybe read minds. If you are one of these people who think having an ability will make things easier for you, you are very much mistaken, my friend. Having an ability is very much a burden for anybody. Are you able to cope with putting not only yourself, but those you love in danger? Are you willing to expose yourself to this ordinary world and suffer? I very much doubt it, and even if that's not bad enough, your power will eventually consume you and make you the monster.
