Character Name: Jordana
Nickname; Jordan
Age: hatched in the year 2022, actual age 78 appears 19
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Power Level: Youngling
Kind: Water
Description: Jordana is a tall and delicate looking beauty for her age. She stands around 5'6" and weighs no more than 115lbs. Her hair is either a firey red color or a soft strawberry blonde depending on how much time she spends in the water, indoors or out in the sun. She has large periwinkle eyes and a slightly small upturned nose. Her skin always remains creamy, hardly tans and never burns thanks to her dragon blood. Any tan she could get disappears every times she shifts into dragon form. She carries one small scar on the back of her shoulder from when she was young no older than 13 from an attack. Its a small jagged line across her shoulder that is very faint.
Hybrid: Jordana's half form is still very human compared to many. Her upper body from around her navel up remain very human like. A few scales appear up her arms and stomach as well as her face. Her fingers web and turn more claw like, with fins along her wrists and the back of her arms. Below her navel becomes more dragonic. Her legs disappear or more meld together forming a long tail with large fins at her sides then a few smaller ones where her knees might have been before ending with one large fan like one at the end of her tail. Some have compared her to a mermaid but she does not have the beauty of the fairy tales and hates the idea of being compared to something that she is not. She is a dragon and just because she only turns half way doesn't mean that she is all sweet but not as cruel and evil as what fairy tale mermaids truly are.
Personality: She is often told that for having the face of one so innocent and sweet, her hair matches her personality. Now this doesn't mean she is a spit fire all of the time but a good portion of it. She likes to torment men more than women, don't ask why she just does and alot of the time they humor her so she continues to do so. Jordan likes to play tricks on those that get to close to her pool where the water is safe enough for her to play and shift without having to worry. No matter how she comes across to people deep down she is just a little troubled, going through life the way it is, she hasn't known life like the older dragons. Often times she listens to their stories and daydreams about what life had to have been like. Those things she keeps to herself or writes in her journal. She was told that memories are to important to forget though there hasn't been to many memories that needed to be remembered in her life so far that is.
History: It is not known when Jordana's egg was actually laid. Only that is was found my another dragon. He found it under a pile of rubble that had once been a large building, possibly a mansion but a home of many. The scent of human and dragons clung in the air. The egg was dull and more brown in color, blending in with the rubble well. The year was 2022 and the male that pulled the egg from the rubble and hatched it as if it were his own and his mate had vanished, was called Cyrus. He took care of the egg and was a bit surprised that the dull egg that looked very much like that of an earth type dragon was actually that of a female water dragon. Cyrus called her Jordana, raising her as his own in a world where the human race was slowly starting to fall apart.
Jordan was like any young child, she looked up to Cyrus and always thought of him as her father. No matter what he raised her so that meant something to her. In a world that as she grew older only seemed to grow more chaotic she found peace when she was with him. He taught her so much about who she would be when she matured and was able to follow him better. Not being held back by only being in human form. The years passed quickly for her and at the age of 13 her young life the first big explosion in its foundations happened, probably the worst thing to ever happen to her.
Night had just fallen in the small town that Cyrus and Jordan were staying. What they had thought to be a fairly safe small area wasn’t all that safe when a small band of rouge vampires caught the scent of dragons in the area. When the band of five or six vampires ambushed the house both Cyrus and Jordana were awake. They were sitting in the living room of the small farmhouse, reading a book together. It was the easiest way for her to learn was by reading… Cyrus would take turns with her and then tell her his own personal experiences… or correct a book if things were written wrong. Who better to learn from then someone who actually lived back in the time.
The night of relaxing and learning quickly turned into a nightmare. It wasn’t something Cyrus could have planned on either. These rouges still had their heads on tightly and were told of the old war between dragons and vampires. They wanted their try for a bit of dragon blood and bragging rights. They stayed far from the house, keeping themselves hidden before rushing the house at once. It gave Cyrus very little reaction time to the vampires. As the first few broke down the door he grabbed Jordana pushing her behind him and telling her to run, run and not look back. She wanted to protest and stay but he pushed her once more.
Having already mapped out every exit to the house she took off down the hallway and to the one bedroom. Hearing the battle going in the main room she grabbed a small bag with a few of her belongings and pushed open the window. Jumping out of it she ran as fast as her bare feet would take her. Doing like she was told by Cyrus and not looking back, well until she was safe in the cover of the trees. Her heart beat hard in her chest and she knew that the night wasn’t safe for her and she needed to find a place to hide. Wiping away a few tears she turned and began to run through the woods and that was. It was that night when she first changed into her half form. All the adrenaline flowing through her veins wakened her dragon.
Jordan’s body felt weird but instinct took her to water. She stopped at a river that flowed through the forest. Dropping her bag by a close tree she waded into the water, her night dress flowed around her as she dipped below the surface of the water. Her body slipped easily into her half form. She stayed that way for one day and night. Deep down hoping that Cyrus would find her… but he never came. Gathering her things she slipped on the spare outfit she had and made her way back slowly to the farmhouse that she had last seen Cyrus in.
The farmhouse wasn’t standing anymore, it was destroyed by the fight she figured. Slipping back into the forest she knew that she was truly alone.. Knowing that she couldn’t stay here, it wasn’t safe she turned and fled back into the woods, running from the only thing she knew. Life was going to be different for her now and forever. She had to take what she learned from Cyrus and live.
It didn’t take her long to leave the city she had been in. Keeping close to water way for herself. She moved north as the climates seemed to be changing. The world ending, everything she accepted was changing. She lived on her own for a year doing whatever it took to survive, having a few close calls with vampires but managing to survive and escape or actually put them down for good. In the early months of her fifteenth year she was sitting on the bank of an unknown river. Her feet dipped into the water as she read a book one she had left from when she was with Cyrus. It was old and worn, but one of her favorites… of fairy tales… but the real ones not ones with happy endings. Happy endings were just peoples imaginations.
There on that bank was where Xen and Ana found her sitting there looking oblivious to anything. She hadn’t been only relaxing but noticed the approach of the other dragons. Never meeting another of her kind except for Cyrus she was hesitant of them at first slipping into the water until they were able to coax her back out of the water. They gave her a home and a sense of security. Every since that day they took her from the river she has lived with them since…

Powers: She has almost mastered the ability to hide herself completely in clear water. Has the ability to make a large bubble around herself and has almost got it right for others. Practice does make perfect.
RP Sample: Her barefeet made no sound as she ran down the stone stairs. Dressed in a plain sleevless sun dress that stopped just above her kness, she stopped right before the walkway. Glancing around with a book in her hands she let out a soft giggle then walked a bit more calmly across the sun warmed stones. They felt wonderful on her barefeet. Fiery red hair hung down her back in loose curls that she left untamed as she was heading toward her pool anyhow. Jordana never found the use of actually doing anything with her hair if she was just going to get it wet anyhow. Avoiding everyone as she had an idea where they would be and for what reasons she eventually made her way to the pool. It would have been quicker to just walk by everyone but she just didn't want to.
Making her way to the edge of the water she sat down pulling her skirt up a bit so it wouldn't get wet as she slipped her feet into the cool water. Sighing contently she smiled and kicked her feet gently in the water so not to splash herself. The old book she had brought down with her was right beside her. It was old, worn and tattered looking. Jordana loved the book, it was packed in her old bag when she had fled the farmhouse that night and got seperated and lost from Cyrus. One hand still held her skirt in place on her lap while the other rested on the book. She brought it down with her for when she was done enjoying her time in the pool. Tapping her fingers off the hardcover of the book, her eyes glanced around the area. Happy that no one was around she pulled the dress over her head. Wrapping the book in it she placed it away from the waters edge then slipped into the water.
Slidding down under the water she shifted easily into her hybird form. Her skin paled giving the illusion that her skin turned almost the color of the water. Her legs disappeared as they melded together and then formed a tail, different shades of blue and green scaled covered her stomach back and chest as well as parts of her arms and up her neck. Her fingers webbed to help her propel her way through the water. Curling up on the bottom of the pool she looked up through the water at the clouds covering the sun here and there then floating along. It was almost surreal how peaceful and beautiful lookint it was when the world beyond was so incrediablly dark and screwed up. Her thoughts were distracted when her red hair floated across her vision. Letting out a grumpy sound a few bubbles floated from the bottom of the pool. Her hair was the one thing that gave her away fro those that really looked hard enough.
It was one of the things she had yet to master. As the rest of her body changed colors, a variety of them initially why didn't her hair atleast dull herself. Blowing a few more bubbles from her mouth this time on purpose she began to propel herself through the water. The pool was more than large enough for her to stretch out and swim or just curl up along the bottom and daydream. Jordana was supposed to use the pool for practicing as well, to help herself if she needed but most of the time she was relaxing and enjoying herself. Giggling to herself at some of her fun memories she pushed herself to move a little bit faster through the water her tail cutting through the water before she stopped and swam towards the surface when she thought she heard something approaching the pool.
Raising her head just so that her eyes were above the water she blinked once and the protective lenses retracted off her eyes. Looking around she didn't see anyone but that didn't mean they weren't there. Slipping back beneath the water she giggled and waited. Her tail ready to make sure that anyone who wanted to disturb her or distract her got something coming to them.
