Reusol had decided that it was time to make some friends, some allies. He was alone in Pittsburgh and he figured that it probably wasn’t the safest thing to be. No one to have your back if trouble was to find you. No one to back you up when things turned bad. He was tough but having others on your side never hurt now did it? Now he didn’t make this decision just because it was the safer thing to do, he did it because he was just lonely. He was sick of being alone. Sick of not having someone to talk to, not having someone to stand next to when things went bad,
Reusol had heard of a place where a lot of his kind hang out. His goal was to get there and make himself known, not as someone that wanted trouble but someone that just wanted a friend. He dipped his hands into his coat pocket as he walked towards the noted destination. The place was in his sights now and he exhaled deeply as he got closer and closer. He was just going out on a whim here he wasn’t even sure whether or not they would accept him. Wait and see, right? If they didn’t accept him then he was destined to be alone for the rest of his life. Great, how fun.
He stopped outside the place they called GG and pushed open the door. There were a friend people around. He looked quickly over the place and walked in further his hands still in his pockets. He sighed and headed for a vacant seat and sat down. He had some idea of what he was going to do be for he entered but now that he was here, his mind was blank. He got comfortable in his seat but he didn’t let his guard down just in case some people here didn’t like the idea of him being here. Even though he wasn’t doing anything bad, but still.
People looked in his direction but they didn’t seem to care that he was there. So far so good. They didn’t seem to show any sort of emotion towards him at all. That was a good thing and a bad thing. A good thing because they didn’t want to throw him out and a bad thing because it was going to be harder to get to know them if they didn’t even care that he had walked in. There much be someone here that wanted to talk to him. Wanted to know why he was there and what his story was. Someone? Anyone? He sighed and rubbed his fore head and looked to the floor.
He had to think of something else to do other then just sitting around looking at everything around him. Think Reusol think. Nothing came and he still looked at the floor as he thought. His thoughts whirled around in his head. Who would think making a friend would be so hard.

Shay sat at what could of been construed as a bar, it was a long work top which behind was filled with boxes containing what alcohol they could salvage from the wastelands. His jeans were black, ripped at the knee's and upon his top half he worse a grey hooded tracksuit jumper, the hood pulled up. The place had no heating, bar a few open fires due to the chimneys being able to be repaired. Shay sat, quietly sipping his whiskey when a new scent filled the room. His eyes shifted to amber golds and he cast his attention to the man that had walked in.
"New guy..." The man behind the bar gestured and Shay nodded.
"Getting a few of them as of late, Oui?" The delicate remnants of a French accent rolled from his lips and with a soft push of power he let his walls down and allowed the subtle tendrils of his power to flow out into the room, calling out to the mans wolf counterpart.

Reusol felt like a sixteen year old girl, shy and sitting in the corner of the dance watching everyone else having a good time. He looked around and as he watched everyone they didn’t seem to be that intimidating at all. They shouldn’t have any reason on to accept him or like him, he was just like them and he hadn’t done anything wrong, or threatened them in anyway. Yes, he was a stranger but he didn’t want to be a stranger to the people like him forever. The bar was cold but the fires in the fireplaces where sending off heat which was good enough for him. Being a big built he didn’t really feel the cold much. Also many years of discipline helped as well.
Then something made him frown as his animal instinct sparked up. He looked around the place. There was definitely someone in the room that was trying to get his attention. He scanned everyone until he came across a man sitting at the bar with his hood pulled up over his head. His brain was screaming at him saying that it was this man that was making contact with the wolf within. It didn’t seem he was trying to be aggressive at all in trying to get his attention which made Reusol feel better. Should he get up and join the man at the bar. Well it was now certain that the man at the bar knew that Reusol knew it was him reaching out. He couldn’t be rude.
He had to get up and introduce himself to the man. He gave Reusol the impression that he was the one that was in charge of this place, the alpha. He figured this because no one else in the bar tried to reach out and spark the wolf within. He figured that it would be left up to the Alpha. He had to get up and do something he didn’t want to give the man the wrong impression and have him think that Reusol was snobby, because he wasn’t he was just nervous and in need of a friend, and perhaps the protection of a pack. He didn’t want to be the outcast shifter that came across snobby, whilst giving a first impression. He sighed and got to his feet.
He walked over to the bar and sat down in the stool on the left of the man. He swallowed the lump in his throat and gave the man behind the bar a friendly smile. For someone that looks huge and tough he was a nervous wreck. It was being introduced into the shifting world and then being abandoned almost instantly afterwards, has really taken its toll on him. Over the years he didn’t have much contact with anyone and now that he feels he’s got to he just hopes he goes the right way about it. Well now that he was at the bar with the man that was calling his wolf, Reusol needed to say something, anything. He opened his mouth and said the first thing.
“Hi, this is a nice place. Very cozy” He said glancing over to the man next to him. He instantly cringed at that words that flew out of his mouth. Very cozy He said over in his head. He mentally slapped his own forehead. Driving up the courage to even get up and sit at the bar and he says something stupid like that. The other man could even possibly think that Reusol was hitting on him. That thought made him sick in the stomach. It was going to be a fantastic first impression. He really should have made the effort to talk to others before he attempted this.

((OOC: I hate to be a real pain but could you not change the size of your text please and those who are visually impaired struggle to read it.))
Shay remained sitting as he felt the other wolf slowly approach. His inner beast lay quiet, gently pushing up under his skin, his eyes shifting amber to chocolate effortlessly-A show of how much control Shay had over his beast. Yes, he was showing off. When the other male wolf sat to the left of him Shay remained still, downing the rest of the whiskey from the glass before pouring himself another. Only then did he swivel on his stool and eyed the wolf before him.
There was power there and age. Shay had to be careful, she's had strong males come into his lands before, challenging him, acting the alpha themselves. They had lost of course. Shay tended to play dirty. It was then Shay noticed the unease in the other wolf, his scent changed, Shay could almost hear his heartbeat. He was nervous. Nervous was good. Shay would rather have a anxious Wolf come into his establishment than a cocky one.
Then Silence. Shay would not break it, the wolf had obviously come searching for something, he would need to find his tongue if he expected Shay to pay attention.
“Hi, this is a nice place. Very cozy”
Shay snorted and chuckled to himself, downing some more whiskey before nodding the the bartender who promptly put a empty glass in front of the new arrival.
"Do you drink?" Shay said, his accent soft, "Whiskey...a real drink..." Shay poured the glass before the other wolf had a chance to answer.
"What's your name?" He asked but would not give his own, not yet. There had been attempts on his life before and he learned not to give too much information away. "You new to the area?"

It was the chuckle from the stranger that told Reusol that what he had said was really lame. He really should have thought about what he was going to say to the other shifter before he said it. Oh well it was done now and there was nothing he could do about it. Hopefully the other shifter would realise that he was just a tiny bit nervous about the whole thing. He didn’t do well with others and he usually made a dick of himself. Well with a bit of luck, if he got accepted here he would over come his thing with others and be a little more easy going and a little less nervous.
The stranger asked if he drank, but didn’t wait for him to answer before he poured the drink. Reusol did drink and he was glad to know that the stranger wasn’t unimpressed by his little comment before. To Reusol to drink was a ice breaker, maybe something to make him feel a little less nervous. Reusol knew for sure that once he got a few of those under his belt he wouldn’t even know the meaning of nervousness. He had to accept the drink even if he didn’t drink. He wouldn’t want to insult the man. He was being generous after all.
“Thanks, I do enjoy a bit of whiskey every now and then” He said, lifting the glass and taking down the liquid inside. It was refreshing and he was feeling a little better about the whole situation, not just because of the affect of the alcohol, he wasn’t that much of a light weigh. He couldn’t be even if he wanted to, his size would stop that. And not to mention at he was part wolf, he was pretty sure that had something to do with. The man asked him another question, he wanted to know his name. It was an honest question. Nothing weird.
“I’m Reusol” He said, the answer was the honest truth, although he wondered whether or not he should have given his whole name? Hmm, who knows. If the man wanted his full name he was surely ask for it later. For now his first name was good enough. This man was definitely the leader, the one in charge. He carried himself like a leader and he spoke with authority, even if he didn’t mean to, it still lingered in his words. Of he would be the leader, Reusol should have known this when he grabbed his attention by contacting the wolf within. Should he ask him for him name? If he didn’t that might be to much, but then again if he didn’t him might seem rude and snobby. Difficult.
“What’s your name?” He asked the man. His tone wasn’t demanding or intimidating, it was just curious. He wouldn’t be offended if he didn’t tell him his name. He as a leader and he probably had his reasons. You don’t want to push the alpha male, nope.
Words: 500 Notes: hey, sorry about that. Hope thats better XD

“Thanks, I do enjoy a bit of whiskey every now and then”
Shay took this time to size the other wolf up, and behind him he felt his pack move around the club, watching their Alpha and this stranger carefully. They knew all to well these first encounters could either end well or very very badly. Usually Shay's arrogance brushed people up the wrong way and in turn ended up with knuckles hitting face.
“I’m Reusol” Shay had never heard the name before so naturally assumed the other wolf was very new to the area. He may of been blowing his own trumpet but Shay knew everyone, be it by face or name. He was after all the man to go to if you needed someone or something.
“What’s your name?”
"Well Reusol, what brings you to my establishment? Are you aware of what goes on here and who owns it?"
Shay asked, his accent carrying the soft taint of French, "Shay Wilde. Manger, owner, the man who everyone needs to know. If you need something I have it, if by the small chance I do not, then i certainly know the man who does. So, Reusol...what do you want? What do you need?"
Shay straightened up then and pushed the hood from his face, scrubbing his chin with the palm of his hand, his eyes flashing amber golds as he pushed a tendril of his power up through his body.

Reusol listened to the question. He did have a reason for coming to the club. He just wasn’t sure if telling him was a good idea. He reasons was to meet more people like him. Plainly just to make friends. He wasn’t sure if it was going to be a good enough reason to be there. He asked him if he knew who own it. He didn’t know who it belonged to. But he figured he should just tell him the truth. If he wanted to have any luck making friends, allies have a chance to join a pack he needed to be truthful.
“I came here to meet more people like me; I have had a bad run of luck, meeting others like myself” He explained, it was the whole truth. Throughout his travels he hadn’t come across anyone like himself, but then he came here and heard that there was a place with many creatures like him and he thought it to be a good idea to get on the good side of the packs here rather than be a stranger and be on the bad side of them. Who know how many there was, against him.
“I am not aware of who owns this place” Again he explained with truth. When he heard of this place the details were a little sketchy and he wasn’t informed of the owner of the place. He could only hope that it was right of him to come here with such little knowledge of it. But he figured you had to learn somewhere, right? Then the wolf before him introduced himself, telling Reusol his name and revealing that he was the owner.
“It's a pleasure to meet you” He said, then thinking about his follow up questions. Was there anything he needed? Other than just a few friends and allies? “Just a friend or two” He said looking down at the glass in his hand. There was a little bit of liquid in to. He lifted it to his lips and took the rest down and placed the glass on the bar top. It was refreshing the alcohol, he needed it had calmed his nerves.

“I came here to meet more people like me; I have had a bad run of luck, meeting others like myself” Shay nodded and remained silent allowing the other wolf to talk. As he sat there he tested the other wolf's power, tasting it with hsi own beast. This one was strong, he would make a good addition to the pack and there seemed to be a sense of humble honesty that instantly caused Shay to have at least some small note of respect toward the stranger.
“Just a friend or two”
Shay necked the rest of his drink and poured another, topping up Reusol's glass as well, "Just a friend or two...possibly one of the most expensive trades..." Shay mused, "Friendship is a expensive thing...you have to have something to offer in return..." Shay turned then and relaxed his posture a little, pulling back his beast and letting his eyes return to their human shade of blue.
"All lupines can call this place home, all are welcome to join with me, but they have to provide some use..." Shay's main goal was making sure Vampire's could not come and claim his pack, take them and food. He had lived that life once before and would not wish it upon his worst enemy. "So tell me Reusol...what can you offer me in return for having your back covered?"

Reusol watched as Shay poured him another drink. He wasn’t about to tell him not to, as he enjoyed the drink and he didn’t want to seem rude. He then listened to his words. Reusol didn’t realise there was a price on friendship. Well since he has never really held a friendship before he wouldn’t know any different. Shay spoke of having something in return for a friendship, the first thing that popped into his head was him giving his friendship in return but times were different now it seemed like it wasn’t going to be enough just to return the friendship. He thought about what he had to offer.
He took a sip of his drink as he thought about what to say, but Shay’s voice entered his ears again and he turned his attention towards the man. His words were comforting in a way, he know knew that all Lupins were accepted here, which was probably why no one really seemed to take much notice of his presence when he walked it. His confusion about that was finally rested. He then spoke of everyone providing a use within the pack, which again was fair enough, you can’t just walk in expect to be lazy now that you were a part of the pack. What was Reusol good for?
Reusol was no fool he knew that once you were part of a pack that you had to look after everyone, even if you didn’t get along with them all that well. You had to help when they are in need, protect them when they couldn’t protect themselves, put our life on the line to save the life of a brother. “I don’t have much in the way of possessions but I can offer my life and service to keeping the others safe, I am strong and wise, I wouldn’t let you down” Reusol explained. He felt as though offering such things was a good idea, it showed Shay that he was determined and willing to do anything for his kind.
‘I’m not sure if that would be enough but it’s all I have really, my respect for the alpha and of the others, and I still have my Lupin honour” He explained and took down the rest of his drink and placed the empty glass in front of him on the bar top. He looked over to Shay and smiled. He wasn’t sure of what else he could do. He just wanted to show the respect to other and receive the same amount back. He just wanted to belong somewhere, and to be looked upon for help. He was wise in some aspects and maybe he could even be looked upon for guidance. But one would have to wait and see.

“I don’t have much in the way of possessions but I can offer my life and service to keeping the others safe, I am strong and wise, I wouldn’t let you down”
Shay remained stoic, still and silent as he allowed the other wolf to begin his sales tactic. Shay had to admit he could use stronger lupines but he was not one to give his trust easily. Too many backstabber's and liars had tainted Shay to rarely give two shits about anyone new. But Reusol had something, a tiny of pure honesty in his eyes that lead Shay to believe, perhaps he had indeed found himself a suitable member for his clan.
‘I’m not sure if that would be enough but it’s all I have really, my respect for the alpha and of the others, and I still have my Lupin honour”
As the other wolf finished his drink Shay moved to fill it up, matching his smile with his own small smirk, "Time. I can offer you time to prove yourself. But...I do not mean kiss my ass every day. I do not expect you to respect me until I have earned it, and in turn you can no expect me to trust you until you have-like wise- earned it. In the mean time. You are welcome in my lands. I will offer you a home, safety, family...then later we can talk of trust and respect."

Reusol watched as Shay poured him another drink, he took it happily he didn’t have a problem with having a few drinks. Just sharing one with Shay was good enough for him. Seeing that he had never shared a drink with someone else before, it was a first for him. Tonight was full of things to do for the first time. All his nervousness had left him now and it was replaced with a feeling of contentment. He sipped the drink in front of him and listened to the words that Shay spoke.
“Thank you, that is most kind” He smirked at his remark of not being a kiss ass; Reusol could handle that request he never was really good at kissing up to someone. He understood that he had to earn Shay’s respect in time; he wasn’t expecting just to have it straight off the bat. After all he was still merely a strange in Shay’s eyes and he to Reusol’s. But having a place to stay that is safe and is always welcome was what he had hoped for tonight. He had someplace that wasn’t going to shun him for what he was.
He quickly glanced around the room, there was a quiet a few lupins in there and he figured for them to be here they had to have been in his position at one stage. He felt honoured just to have the opportunity to even have the chance to be accepted into the lands of the Lupin. He had much to learn about what it is like to be in a pack as he had spent so much time on his own. But with the little memory he had left of his human days, the days he spent with his family.
He was sure that it wasn’t going to be so hard to run with a pack again. After all his small family was his pack if you want to think about it that way. “Thanks for the drinks” He said lifting the glass to his mouth and taking down the rest of the liquid within it. It was warm on his throat and he could feel it warming every inch of his body, a desired affect from the alcohol. He wasn’t used to this much generosity from anyone, but he figured that it was just because of what he was, being something else wouldn’t have warranted such kindness.

Shay produced a small scrap of paper and a pencil and write down the directions to the Lupin compound, "Here is where we stay. You are welcome to live there with us if you want." He said pushing the scrap of paper toward the man.
"I would show you myself where it is, but I don't have the time to baby sit I am afraid. I am sure you have enough smarts to find it yourself. When you get the the gates the guards will be expecting you. It's pretty sealed, we have to be careful. I am sure you know, some would want us on a silver platter as a main course." Shay of course was referring to the vampires, and he made no show of hiding his distrust and hate for them.
"Questions? Or are we good here?"

Reusol watched Shay out of the corner of his eye as he pulled out a piece of paper and started to write on it. He drank down the rest of his drink down and took the piece of paper from him and listened to his words. He explained about the place where the other like him stayed and it was safe. “Thanks” he said with a smile. It was good to know that there was some where safe around here to stay. It was annoying having to watch your back all the time, now he didn’t have to worry about it all the time.
Shay then explained that e would show Reusol where it was but he didn’t have enough time, Reusol understood that he figured that Shay was a busy man. Reusol also understood the security being tight as well. As there was a lot of creatures out there that didn’t really like shifters very much. He was also grateful to know that he shouldn’t have any trouble with the guards when he got there. It was always nice to feel welcome. “Yeah, I know what you mean” he said in response to his silver platter remark. Shay then asked if he had any questions. He couldn’t think of any right then, “None for the time being thanks” He said.
