Lindsay kicked the leaves on the ground near an abandoned building. She had never been out here before and she felt like she needed to explore. Sighing she sat down at the foot of a tree. She never liked being alone, but it was her only choice. She smiled and jumed up. She shifted into her lion form and climbed up a tree. She laid on a branch with her tail dangling over the side.
If she were to be alone, then there was no reason why she couldn't be who she really is. She purred and closed her eyes. She was almost in the cat nap state but stopped herself. She didn't want to fall asleep out here. Who know's who could come along and see a lion in a tree just outside of the city.
She opened her eyes again and jumped out of the tree. She walked along the ground using her cat instincs. Seeing a few things run away from her, she knew it was probably just a squirrel or something. She also didn't know why she was out here in the first place. She was just yearning to see something new for a change. She was tired of being in the same rut for more than a few years.

Aida was out walking along the mass destruction of highways and buildings. The surrounding area's of the city and its main points was always depressing. All the destruction was depressing and no one seemed to care about this area, hell she didn't either. It was where she came to hunt and feed without anyone noticing her. She had spent a good deal of time with the good doctor but like she had told him she needed blood, not energy drinks. One counter acted the other, speeding up her blood and keeping her awake and alert but draining her at the same time. Her hood was pulled up over her hair and down shadowing her eyes as she walked through the rubble and toward the woods.
She paused and stopped gripping her wooden staff a little bit tighter. Often times she used it as a larger walking stick so the dumb didn't think it a weapon until she used it atleast once. Sometimes that was all one needed was that one chance. Lifting her chin she scented a shifter near and hissed under her breath. It didn't smell like a rouge the blood of innocents tainting its smell. For once it smelled almost innocent. Shaking her head she continued on making sure she made a soft bit of noise to alert the Leo that she was heading her way. The last thing Aida needed was to fight with a shifter. All she wanted to do was hunt and that wasn't going to happen yet, at least.
Moving swiftly through the woods she stopped when she saw a lion crouching down. Her eyebrow arched as she looked at the beast and stood her ground. "Evening Leone" she said with almost a bored tone, leaning against a near by tree.

Letting out a long cat yawn she jumped down from the tree and did a cat stretch. She looked at the stranger standing no more than 20 feet away from her. She shifted back stood motionless. She really didn't know who she was of course but she wasn't sure if it would be ok to know her. Sighing she responded and said "Evening. I'm Lindsay, And you are." In a polite tone she said the words, somehow sounding muffled. She could be shy at points, and she didn't know why she was now.
Stretching once more she stood closer to the woman. "so what brings you out here past the city and into the shadows?" She knew that she might be getting herself in trouble by being near this person or thing but hey you have to live a little right?
Lindsay looked at the ground and kicked a pine cone to the left of her. Looking back up at the strange woman, she studied her. She was very intriguing and she couldn't help but have her instincts kick in. She felt suddenly that she shouldn't be around this woman, but she kicked it away and continued to study her.
Lindsay's blank expression was sure to grab her attention hopefully. She bit her lip and looked up at the sky, "Gosh, It's so lonely out here." She said to herself quietly. Still not realizing who this person really was, she kicked another pine cone. This one sailing right past the stranger.

Aida paused when the lioness shifted back into her true form. Smirking she kept the hood over her head as she looked at the woman. “Evening Lindsay…” she let the words trail off before responding with her name. “Aida” her voice was her normal tone, showing hardly any emotion at all, it was neither cruel or polite.
Her eyebrow rose as the shifter moved closer to her. Standing where she was she watched the woman closely. “I could ask you the same thing shifter.” her words were a bit harder as she shrugged her shoulders. “Hunting is more plentiful out here but more dangerous”
Watching with a smirk as the girl kicked a Pine cone and studied her. She could have just walked on but had a feeling this girl was out here for a reason and night would be happening soon enough. Aida didn’t mind her eyes on her she just didn’t want her to catch what she was. With the lack of blood she smelled more human, felt more human and hated it.
Just what she thought as the shifter spoke. “Its lonely everywhere you grow accustomed to it” she replied pulling the hood off her head, freeing her braids as a pine cone went flying past her shoulder. “Why are you not with you clan?” she asked keeping the tiredness from her tone.

Lindsay stood still and looked her over. What was with the hood. She seemed like she knew what she was talking about too. Tilting her head to the side and said "Not so much when you know what your doing." Slyly she sighed at her question and said "Well Aida, the truth is, I don't really have a clan. I don't even have friends."
Lindsay felt sorrow fall over her at that moment. She hadn't ever had anyone there for her. She was always there for someone. Pausing she stared at Aida and said "So how do you know about all this stuff. I mean surley your not human."
Hopefully she was right. She wasn't sure who or what this woman really was. And she probably wasn't the best thing to be around at the moment. Kicking at the ground Lindsay was pretty aware of the hunting around here. She stared back at Aida and said "Wait, you said 'hunt.' Exactly what type of hunt did you mean?" She asked slyly. She thought that she would've had her pretty figured out, but not completely.

Aida smirked at Lindsay’s words, shaking her head pulled the hood from her head. “I did not mean the dangers of hunting game here. It is what hunts you the same time you hunt your prey” she explained to her. Glancing around the area she leaned casually on her staff as the girl sighed. It brought her attention back to her. Nodding Aida shrugged her shoulders, “You are better off that way”
She spoke truthfully to the shifter, Aida had a family once a few close people she could have called friends. Even now she had the good doctor as someone she could possibly call a friend. Hell even the axe man but normally those people came and went like the wind, you saw them a few times then they were gone. It was easier and safer to be alone and not have to deal with anyone else but yourself in the end.
Raising an eyebrow at her question, Aida’s green eyes narrowed. “Know about what stuff exactly? I am very much human Lindsay I am a hunter… I hunter rogues of all species.” she replied a bit coldly toward the shifter.
“I am hunting game and for any rogue shifters around then when night comes I will be hunting the blood suckers who run wild in these woods”

Lindsay laughed and said "Yeah, I'm some form of hunter I guess. And I mean about Shifters and basically the world beyond the human world." She was very confused at this point. Or she was just unaware that this girl knew so much. Then she paused and thought. why do I care?? She was still confused. She never knew who to trust anymore. Most of the time when she started to trust someone they turned out to be something else. Not her favorite thing in the world.
Lindsay just stood there still studying her. She was very interesting and peculiar. Planning to walk away she restrained herself she said "So, don't you have better things to do then hang around a lone shifter? I understand if you do. It wouldn't be the first time it happens to me." Lindsay couldn't help but feel a little depressed saying that. Shifting back, she climbed up the tree and laid there once more.
Swishing her tail back and fourth she waited for Aida to do something. She did a big cat yawn and continued to wait. Not having anything else to do, she played with leaves in the tree for a minute, swishing at them with her claws. More cat instinct.

Aida’s eyebrow rose at the young shifter and she smirked. “To be on your own I would guess you are a hunter of sorts. Some hunt to live, survive while others hunt because it is a passion.” Shrugging her shoulders she gave the lioness a look over. “You look and appear to soft, to innocent to hunt for pleasure of hurting others Lindsay”
It was obvious that the girl was confused or she was just a good actress. Aida would beat anything she had on her that it was confusion. She was trying to talk bigger than she was. It was a normal thing, and not something she hadn’t seen before. Aida felt the eyes linger over her not showing any emotion what so ever that she cared or didn’t care what the lioness was doing.
She let out a sigh at the girls words and shook her head, her braids bounced along her shoulders in doing so. “I do actually have much better things to do… I was hunting. You would do better if you looked for more of your own kind” Aida told her truthfully as she watched the girl shift back into a lion and jump into a tree.
Shaking her head once more she looked at he with a raised eyebrow. “Sulking does not do well for anyone. I am not going to play baby sitter but if you want some fresh meat you can come with me but after that you are on your own cat.“ Aida wasn’t going to wait around for Lindsay to make up her mind she would either follow or not. Damn she was supposed to be harder. Growling under her breath she would get the girl some food, properly then send her into the city to look for the lions then she needed to get blood. Raw meat wouldn’t hurt she could get a small bit of blood from it.

Lindsay sighed and changed back while laying in the tree still slightly. "Yes, i know your not going to babysit me. I don't really need it. And to be honest i've been trying to find more people like me but I haven't come across any yet. Out of the five years I've lived here. It's kinda sad when you really think about it.
Lindsay sighed yet again and started to play with her hair. Her head shot up when Aida offered her some meat. "Seriously? You would do that?" No one had ever offered her food, no one had never really offered her anything. Pausing she said "Ok, but I get to have some of the credit. I love to hunt so I want in." Lindsay said confidently to Aida. "You know, it's easier to hunt with more than one. But im guessing you already knew that." Lindsay was just trying to be sly, and she was practically embarrassing herself.

Aida looked back at the girl and only shook her head. So she thought that she didn't need babysat, that was something that would be seen. Stopping at her words she slowly turned and faced the shifter. "If one opens her eyes and follows her nose into the city she would have found others like her." Her words came out harshly but it wasn't well known where the shifters were but for one of their own it should be easy to find if only she would look within the city not in these outskirts. Sane shifters, humans and vampires stayed within their own in small groups, they were safer.
"Yes seriously, do you have a pack of clothes with you? Nudity doesn't bother me or anything but not wise to hunt. Though you would know that with being a good hunter and all." Aida chuckled and continued to move in the woods offering the shifter to follow her. She could tell that the lioness had been on her own for too long as her people skills were far worse than Aida's were only in the complete opposite way.
