Darkness. Perfect., just how she liked it. Andy walked, her pace slow and with a specific destination. She was just walking. Something she did all the time. She had being in the one spot for to long. She has just gotta be moving. She looked out at the city, well what was left of the city anyway. What had the world become? She sighed the thought away as she dipped her hands into her coat pocket and continued to walk. Finally coming across what looked like a pile of rubble that used to be a bridge of some sort. Seeing the dried up canal kind of answered her thoughts.
Taking a seat on the largest piece of rubble she crossed her arms over her chest and closed her eyes. Everything was quiet and was perfect for some thinking time. Sometimes she couldn’t help it but go into thought when everything was just so wonderfully quiet. What she was going to do with the rest of the night was what flooded her mind. It was trivial yes but whatever came to her head is what she thought about. To tell the truth nothing exciting came. Some walking, maybe running into some she knew that might be interesting to talk to.
A noise snapped her out of her thoughts and her eyes scanned the darkness that surrounded her. There was nothing that her eyes could see, so she stretched out her other senses. Nothing crossed her radar, she sighed both with relief but also with disappointment. She was hoping that something or someone was there, so maybe just maybe something exciting might happen to her on this pleasant but unfortunately boring night. Then again the noise that she heard might be just her mind, but wasn’t everyone these days a little crazy? She tried to believe she wasn’t.
Finally making a decision that she didn’t yet want to move from her current position she bit the inside of her lip and got a little more comfortable on the large concrete rubble that was once a sturdy structure. She could remember back to when the world wasn’t like this. Sure it did have its issues but this was something that she believed that no one was ready for. The breeze picked up around her causing her hair to blow across her face. Even the weather now was different it changed so quickly and unexpectedly. It still surprised her sometimes.
Andy tucked her hair behind her ears and concentrated her senses on the wind. Hoping that maybe she might be able to pick up something interesting. But to no prevail she was still disappointed. All she really wanted was some company. It was strange because she usually liked to be on her own. Everyone needed to have some company sometime. But it wasn’t going to stop her from living, if no one came along, or if nothing exciting happened she would go back to her home and wait it out till night fell again and she would tried again.
She wasn’t really going to much effort to find the company she was merely waiting for it to find her. Which was good enough for her, she didn’t want to put her whole world on hold to find someone else to talk to besides herself. Maybe if she did find someone they would probably wouldn’t want to talk to her anyways knowing her luck. So she would just enjoy the time she is having and wait till someone showed up. Running her hand through her hair the smell of rain entered her nose. It was a while off yet but it was definitely coming.

Darkness. Not so good. Angela walked, nervous it seemed from the outside, but she was actually rather content. It wasn't as if she didn't mind that darkness. She hated it. She still liked light now and than. She never understood why some people, or creatures, enjoyed darkness. It was still a rather hard concept for her to understand. She still was confused on why it got dark and such like that. Sure, it was explained to her back when she was in middle school that the sun rose and set. Even so it was still rather confusing at times. Why did the sun set at a certain time? Why did it set faster at one time than slower at another? She sometimes thought things out to much, but she didn't care. She liked to think a lot. It was the only thing she had so she wouldn't be lonely. Thought.
Walking around downtown a little bit she sort of looked around. Her hair started to rise up on the back of her neck from the wind. She shivered slightly at the cold. Staring at the sky she breathed in and breathed out silently. Closing her eyes she opened them back up to see the moon shine slightly from behind the clouds. Smelling the air she could smell a hint of rain. She thought it might rain soon. Not now, but soon. She wouldn't mind the rain. It would give the land a better feeling. She smiled a little bit at the thought than quickly just stopped thinking. She heard something.
Her ears perking up slightly she cocked her head to the side. Her dirty Blondie hair falling all on one side. Smiling a little bit she was sort of excited that there was another person near. Kind of skipping from where the sound came from she stopped about twenty feet and stopped skipping. She probably would've looked very childish skipping around. Shaking her head she remembered she was in her twenties for crying out loud. She couldn't make herself look foolish.
Starting to walk toward the sound her black dress sort of flew behind her. It had black frills on the bottom and on the sleeves. The sleeves went to the middle of her palm and stopped there. She wore no shoes and she felt her bare feet sort of sting in slight pain from a couple of pieces of rubble around the area. She figured it must of been from a building or a bridge of some sort. Hard to tell.
Approaching the person slightly her eyes adjusted and saw that it was a female. Smelling the air silently she put a hand over her nose and whispered quietly "Vampire.." She knew that the vampire would hear her since they had a great sense in hearing. Approaching the vampire quietly she stood right beside the female and just stared at her for a second. Opening her mouth she shut it again and wondered what she would say. What could she say to a species she was slightly superior over even when she was a half breed.
Smiling slightly she said "Hello." It was more like a whisper because she hasn't socialized with other people in quite awhile. It seemed as if it was forever. It was only a couple weeks though. She just had a conversation with another half-breed and it was pretty good. Until she found out that the other one didn't care. They were bored and she looked lonely enough. That made her furious and slightly more lonely than usual. Sighing she put her hands behind her back and stared at her feet.

Andy rubbed her forehead as she looked around the darkness. Her vision being enhanced like it was she could see further and clearer. There was a soul around, it was like a ghost town. She wasn’t surprised as not many people ventured out at night. She did though expect to see more immortals around. Maybe she just was in the wrong part of town. Knowing her luck she was, then again it was probably a good thing that there wasn’t many immortals around as lot of them these days were crazy and hostile and she just wasn’t in the mood for confrontation.
Lowering her hand from her forehead she sighed. She didn’t experience much pain these days but the pain that was in her head just didn’t seem to want to go away. What it was she didn’t know, whether or not it was something serious she didn’t know and she didn’t really care all that much, its not like she could die from disease or natural causes. It was just annoying that it was there most of the time. The only time it wasn’t there was when the sun was up and she spent more of the time asleep. She enjoyed her sleep, almost as much as she enjoyed feeding.
Her mind wandered off again but she was still on her guard just in case someone did just happen along her way. The things that she was now thinking of where strange, it wasn’t completely clear just colours and sounds and flashes of images. She wasn’t even entirely sure if it was something that she had already experienced or if it was something that might happen. She hadn’t really ever had flashes of the future before and she didn’t think anything of it. The one thing that stood out the most was blonde hair. She didn’t know anyone with blonde hair, she was left confused.
Suddenly the wind picked up again and something foreign slashed at her senses. It was an immortal sent. Her hold body tensed as her mind returned to earth and she determined what it was. It was a strange scent, was that a half breed? Excitement coursed through her body. She had never met a half breed before and the scent that she was now investigating came across to her as not crazy, which was a plus if this immortal picked her up then maybe she wouldn’t have to deal with a crazy hostile half breed and maybe she might just make a friend.
Glancing up she sure the figure and focused her vision on it. There was something about the immortal that almost made her tumble of the foundation that she perched on. Was that blonde hair? Her thoughts began to spin and wined, was her “Vision” come true, was it this girl that she was seeing. And was this the first time her “Visions” were actually real? She couldn’t believe what she was seeing, she was positively and officially freaked out but excited. Then a voice sounded and she was snapped out of her confusion and she focused on the girl before her.
“Good Evening” She said her voice slightly croaky, it was like her vocal cords hadn’t spoken a word in years. Well this was going to be interesting as she hadn’t actually had a proper conversation in a long time. What was she going to say? What she going to do? Panic rose in her now but she kept it from showing. She needed to snap out of it, she was a Vampire not a petty human she could handle it, Everything was going to be fine and from what she could tell this girl wasn’t hostile. A plus.
“Um, would you like to have a seat?” She asked feeling like a moron instantly after she spoke. But oh well she moved over on the rubble and offered a space for her to sit if she chose to. She had asked the question and now all she had to do was wait for the answer, she readied herself for anything. Quickly Andy scanned the girls attire and smiled it was beautiful. She loved dresses and she was instantly found on this one. She wasn’t wearing one at the moment but that was because she was planning on doing a bit of walking, not exactly appropriate.
