Glenley Manor is the go-to place for juvenile delinquents and mentally ill adults. The courts send them here if they have no hope of being readmitted into society and have no one else to take care of them. The Manor offers state of the art treatment and a comfortable life for it's residents.
However, because in most cases there is no family to check up on the residents the doctors can do whatever they want with them. There have been reports of abuse and neglect, but they haven't gone farther than the door of the security office and are rarely checked up on.
Due to this lake of supervision, drug companies have talked the director into letting them test drugs on the residents, turning them into human lab rats for medicines that haven't been approved by the FDA yet.
These drugs have created strange mutations in patients that have been around long enough and have gotten a certain mix: powers. Currently, they've managed to keep their new abilities under wraps, they don't even know what's going on with that. But how long will that last? What will the staff do when they find out?
This isn't the only shady spot in the past of Glenly Manor. Once the burial ground for a group of rouge colonists, the plot of land has been home to many different people, the majority having tragic ends. In 1932 the house was torn down and a mental institution was put up. This asylum was worse than a prison, however, and burned down in 1948, killing most of the people inside.
Currently, the residents have seen some strange goings on, but any of it that they've brought up has been dismissed by the staff. Who would believe them, anyway, they're crazy?
It's a place where almost anything can happen, with hardly anything kept under wraps. The question is: What will happen to YOU?
