She had given him blood helped him survive then he vanished before she ever told him of Aida. Her mother stayed close to what was left with the rest of her family. A small colony of them her mothers two sisters, one cousin and someone who said that they were family.
They all wore the same bandit like masks but Aida added the flame to her forehead when at the age of 11 she accidentally set a stack of old books on fire whenever she was upset. Her mother just stared at her as if she had grown two heads. Keeping this ability a secret between the two of them along with later that year the craving for blood grew unbearable for Aida. Her mother took care of her and then started to teach her how to hunt so that she could deal with her cravings for blood.
Her family didn’t notice anything different with her other than the fact that she would take on more hunting trips then others. Being careful to not bring home to much food and draw attention to herself. Things began to go normal in her life, she was just after all human or so everyone thought. Her mother fell ill when she was 17. This tore Aida up inside. She never showed anyone not her mother or her family how it tore her up inside. Slowly it was as if she were the one dying, her personality her moods.
When he mother finally passed her family moved on. Aida said her goodbyes but refused to follow them. They had heard of family more north. She wasn’t leaving her home, deep down she had the hope of someday finding her father. She wouldn’t leave her mothers grave either. Her family didn’t need her and she needed no one.

RP Sample: Aida moved quietly through the overgrown brush her boots would seem bulky to most but didn’t hinder her movement at all. Using her staff as if was a walking stick she caught the scent of a wounded animal not to far from her. Licking her lips she moved much like the hunter she partially was. Jumping over a large fallen tree she landed on the balls of her feet as she crouched down as her green eyes lifted seeing the form of a limping deer.
Smiling at the injured doe she moved closer to it keeping out of sight. Its shoulder was torn open either by another predator or an accident. No matter what she would make its death quick and as painless as she could. It was as if she hadn’t moved at all one second she was on the ground watching the animal the next she had it to the ground her teeth sunk into fur and flesh. Sucking on the wound she lapped at the blood sighing softly. Never had she nor would she take the blood of a human. Sometimes it called to her teased her senses but she refused. The blood of animals gave her all that she needed.
Hearing the sound of a branch snapping not to far from her. Growling she pulled away from the animal. Standing up slowly she wiped the few drops of blood from her mouth. Moving swiftly away from the carcass she lifted the hood of her top over her head. It fell down covering the flame on her forehead. Keeping her eyes low she picked up her staff holding it close waiting for the unexpected. The woods were filled with anything and everything it seemed from anyone’s worst nightmares.
The sound of footsteps approached her fast as she turned around quickly, the hood remaining over her head as she gave a soft warning hiss to the person standing there. It was far to early for vampires to be out, not with how weak many were no matter how dense the forest was. Lifting her eyes she smirked at the person standing there. “You are loosing your touch, soon anything will know you are coming” she said to the unknown person before running as fast as she could into the dense forest. The hood falling back freeing her braids as she ran hard. This was the normal game of cat and mouse and this time was almost to close.
